🎊 Come celebrate the 53rd Annual Mattoon Street Arts Festival with me on September 12th - 13th, 2026, in Springfield, MA. This is my second year participating and I'm looking forward to it.

🎷Held in the city's first historic district, on a street lined with restored brick Victorian row houses, the festival is the longest-running arts festival in the Conneticut River Valley

🖼 Featuring over 100 exhibitors, food vendors, and strolling musicians - there is something for everyone!

Also, I have an upcoming market! The 53rd Annual Mattoon Arts Festival Mattoon Street Arts Festival September 12 +13 in Springfield MA. It's a whole vibe. If you haven't been before, I highly recommend going. It's the longest running art festival in the Connecticut River Valley.

This will be my second year attending, and the festival's 53rd year in action!

I've been working on some tiny things while waiting to get back to the wheel (fingers crossed I can make some stuff before the Mattoon Street Market 😬😬😬) .

I started by making some salt & pepper shakers (classic), whistles (which made an appearance this spring at markets), and then.....I made these.....

Can anyone guess what they are?

I've been really into stripes lately. Making work without lots of texture is genuonely hard for me, but in the end, I love the creative freedom a smooth surface allows during glazing.
