Yarmouth Seaside Festival

Yarmouth Seaside Festival Yarmouth Seaside Festival It is through their diligence that the festival has flourished. to name just a few.

The Yarmouth Seaside Festival, currently celebrating its 35th anniversary, was founded in 1978 by South Yarmouth resident, Jan Butler, in the hope of creating community spirit and pride in the Town of Yarmouth. Presented annually on Columbus Day weekend, the festival is the result of a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication by a small, volunteer committee. The Yarmouth Seaside Festival has grown into a gala event which boasts a craft fair of more than 125 crafters from all over the country, a giant parade, continual musical entertainment, high-quality children’s events, kayak and canoe race, 5K road race, greased pole contests, pie-eating contests, fireworks display, etc. By bringing together our townspeople and tourists alike, we have captured a warm, fun-loving, and still FREE event for all to take part in and enjoy.
