New Stage Players

Community is at the heart of everything we do! On September 7th, New Stage Players had a blast attending the live horse races at the Atokad Track Ho-Chunk, Inc. here in South Sioux City. 🏇 We loved connecting with everyone and helping racegoers dress the part by handing out fancy hats for the day. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to grab a hat and chat with us. We’re so proud to be part of this incredible community! 🎭🎩

Thank you, KTIV News 4, for shining a spotlight on Come From Away and recognizing the incredible impact this story has on everyone who experiences it.
There is something especially powerful about sharing this story on the 25th anniversary of 9/11...a story born from one of our darkest days, yet filled with kindness, compassion, hope, and the very best of humanity.
We are so honored to tell this story once again and to remember not only September 11, but the extraordinary acts of love and generosity that followed in the days after.
Come From Away is so much more than a show. It’s a reminder that even in the darkest moments, we can choose to take care of one another.

Thank you to every single person who stepped into the audition room for The Addams Family. The sheer amount of vulnerability, passion, and talent on display was genuinely staggering. Making these final casting decisions is always the hardest part of the process, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who shared their time, energy, and artistry with us.

The level of talent in the room made for an incredibly difficult selection process, and we are grateful for the time and energy every single person invested. While not everyone is moving forward with us for this specific show, we hope to see you back at future auditions!

New Stage Players opens Come From Away on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, bringing back our full original cast. Join us for this special production as we honor the lost and celebrate the extraordinary kindness that brought people together in the dark.

On September 11, 2001, tragedy struck, but in Gander, Newfoundland, compassion took flight. When 38 planes were grounded, a tiny town welcomed 7,000 strangers with open arms. Turning a moment of darkness into a beacon of hope.

Reserve your tickets today at the link above and share this powerful night with us.

In a way, Hess was able to relive 9/11 as an actor in the New Stage Players production of "Come from Away," a 2017 Tony Award-nominated musical based on real-life events occurring in a small Canadian town in the wake of the domestic terrorism.
