For hundreds of years,
no one was allowed to touch the goddess.

Not kings.
Not warriors.
Not even the temple priests.

Because the ancient legend said that if she ever awakened…

the world beneath the temple would open again.

That’s why everyone froze when they saw a small boy in a dark cloak walking alone across the glowing floor.

The priests shouted in panic.

“Stop him!”

But the boy kept walking.

Then he reached the giant stone goddess…

and placed his hand against her.

For a moment…

nothing happened.

Then suddenly,
the entire temple shook.

Blue light burst through the cracks.

Candles flickered wildly.

A deep sound echoed through the hall.

The soldiers rushed forward.

The priests stepped back in fear.

Then slowly…

the giant stone goddess opened her eyes.

Everyone expected destruction.

But instead,
the enormous statue looked directly at the boy…

and slowly lowered itself onto one knee before him.

The room fell silent.

The boy softly touched her face and whispered:

“You still remember me.”

And an old priest collapsed to the floor in horror.

“The prophecy…
the lost heir has returned…”

Barefoot.
Alone.
Too fragile to survive the beast behind him.

The iron gates slowly opened as thousands leaned forward in silence.

Then the monster emerged from the darkness.

Enormous.
Deadly.
Strong enough to destroy royal soldiers.

But the child never tried to escape.

Instead,
he uncovered the torn cloth hanging from his shoulder.

The crowd instantly went quiet.

A dark sword-shaped mark was burned into his skin.

The king shot up from his throne.

His voice trembled as he whispered:

“That mark…
belongs to my son.”

Shock spread across the arena.

Because the prince had died years earlier.

Then the impossible happened.

The beast suddenly stopped…

and bowed its head toward the boy.

The Roman arena was shaking with screams for the child to die.

The little boy stood barefoot in the sand,
terrified and alone.

Slowly, he knelt down and shut his eyes while thousands waited for the giant gates behind him to open.

Then suddenly—

the emperor rose from his throne.

“OPEN THE GATE!” he shouted.

The screaming stopped at once.

Iron chains rattled through the arena as the massive wooden gates slowly opened.

Dust drifted through the sunlight.

And from the darkness emerged a giant pale lion.

The crowd gasped in horror.

But the lion wasn’t the most shocking thing.

It was the emperor’s expression.

Because when he looked at the frightened child,
fear suddenly appeared on his face.

And as the lion walked closer to the kneeling boy,
everyone realized they were about to witness something impossible…

The guards grabbed the little boy and prepared to remove him from the castle immediately.

He looked homeless.
Weak.
Completely helpless.

Then he slowly showed them something hidden in his hand.

A silver royal ring.

The Guard Captain turned pale the second he saw it.

Because the ring belonged to the king’s missing son —
a prince believed dead for nearly ten years.

“Answer me…
where did you get that?” the captain demanded softly.

The child looked up fearlessly.

“My father left it for me before he died.”

The hallway fell silent.

Because nobody ever knew the missing prince had a family.

Soon after,
the boy stood face to face with the king.

But everything changed when the king opened a hidden letter tucked inside the child’s cloak.

The handwriting was unmistakable.

And after reading only one line,
the king nearly collapsed from shock.
