Introducing—Baron und Frau Minsky von Turtlestein! They are my radiation warriors. The baron has been with me from the start of my 10 blasts of radiation for—non small cell adeno carcinoma. Six weeks ago, on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at the age of 71, unexpectedly thus journey began. I’m an a half Azorian, 1/4 Russian, 1/4 Norwegian, Scorpion, female, mutant, NINJA TURTLE WARRIOR, who is meeting this challenging journey with the help of my warrior family. I’m part of an amazing circle of family & friends, many involved in music, theater, art—theatrical and visual, gifted teachers, mentors, spiritual guides, allopathic doctors and energy healers, and everything in between. We all have our varying beliefs and ideas of what this crazy thing called life is and don’t always agree on concepts or theories, but that doesn’t matter to me because I know that the love we have for each other transcends all that. I’m sharing my story because I truly want to help people navigate their journeys with the best possible tools they can use. Here I’m introducing und Frau Minsky von Turtlestein! My dear friend Marilyn Minsky was in Germany when I was diagnosed, and true to form she brought back a german bear to help with my journey. Because I’ve been collecting turtle pins, replica, ornaments—etc, for over 50 years, I decided to bling Baron von Turtlestein with turtle glamour. My daughter came up with the his name. Now six weeks have passed and in yesterday’s mail another gift from Marilyn arrived—the most soft,cute, cuddly superwoman bear—Frau Minsky Turtlestein. I decided that they were destined to be a couple. I blinged Frau Minsky up for her closeup. Please enjoy the fun I’m having with my bears, it is truly a part of my healing process. I love you all!
