👽 A TRUE RELIC OF THE PC GAMING WORLD JUST LANDED ON OUR BENCH.

Before today's Ryzen 7s, Core i9s, RTX 5090s and glass-sided RGB monsters…

There was Alienware.

And this Aurora R4 was once the kind of machine gamers dreamed about.

Big case.
Big power supply.
Serious enthusiast hardware.
Alienware's unmistakable design.
And enough cooling and expansion room to make today's tiny gaming PCs look a little boring. 😂

This machine comes from an era when having an Alienware sitting under your desk meant you had THE gaming PC. 👽🎮

Fast forward more than a decade and this old warrior has definitely seen better days.

There's dust.
There's age.
There's some hardware that has been through the battlefield.

But we're not ready to send it to retirement just yet.

It's on our bench for repair, diagnosis, and a little TechTastic TLC.

We're going to see if we can bring this old-school gaming legend back to life.

Because sometimes you don't replace the relic…

We wanted to give our TechTastic Treasures family a heads-up that we will be **temporarily closed September 3rd through September 12th.**

We’ll be making every effort to have all current repairs completed before the closure.

**We will resume normal operations Monday, September 14th.**

WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES. WHAT MATTERS IS HOW YOU HANDLE THEM.

At TechTastic Treasures, we take pride in doing quality work—but we're also human, and occasionally, mistakes happen.

While reassembling a customer's console for testing, one of the ribbon cables was accidentally damaged. The console passed our testing, but unfortunately, when the customer went to use it later that evening, it would not fully power on.

We could have tried to explain it away. Instead, we owned it.

We replaced the damaged ribbon cable completely free of charge and got the console back up and running.

More importantly, we believe being a trustworthy repair shop means being honest when something goes wrong. We work hard to prevent mistakes like this, but when one does happen, we believe the right thing to do is:

Own it.
Fix it.
Make it right.
Learn from it.

We're grateful for customers who trust us with their devices, and that trust means more to us than simply getting a repair out the door.

Another gaming PC saved by TechTastic Treasures.

This system came in with a failed CPU and a frustrating boot loop. After diagnosing the problem, a failed CPU, we upgraded the CPU from the Ryzen 7 8700F to a Ryzen 5 7600X3D and optimized the BIOS settings.

The result?

• Boot loop resolved
• System stable and running strong
• BIOS settings optimized
• Significant performance upgrade
• Ready to get back to gaming

If your gaming PC is acting up, don’t start replacing parts blindly. Let us diagnose the problem first.

RETRO GAMING IS COMING BACK TO LIFE AT TECHTASTIC TREASURES!

We're only 2 of 6 boxes into this haul, and we're already feeling the nostalgia!

There's just something about opening up a box of old consoles, games, and accessories and seeing the systems you grew up with. Some of these have been sitting around for years, but they're about to get a new lease on life.

We'll be cleaning, testing, repairing, and getting these retro treasures ready for their next homes. They'll be hitting the market very soon!

And here's the fun part...

Ever wonder what happens when the charging port on your Meta Quest 3 decides to call it quits?

Well... it’s not exactly a simple “swap the port and send it home” repair. 😅

This Quest 3 came across our bench for a charging port repair, and as you can see, getting to that port means getting DEEP into the headset.

We carefully disassembled the headset, accessed the internal charging assembly, completed the repair, and put everything back together for testing.

VR headsets are packed with delicate components, so this is definitely one of those repairs best left to someone with the right tools and experience.

If your Quest isn't charging, only charges at certain angles, or the USB-C port has been damaged, don't give up on it just yet.

Don't replace it. Let us take a look.
