This studio has been the beginning of countless conversations, the home of endless material explorations, sketches that slowly became spaces, and ideas that travelled far beyond these walls. It has seen projects take shape, celebrated milestones with us, welcomed clients who became friends, and reminded us, every single day, why we chose this profession.

Looking back, it was never just where we came to work.
It was where Richa Bahl Design Studio found its rhythm.

As we move into a new space, we do so with immense gratitude. For every project imagined here, every lesson learnt, every challenge overcome, every laugh shared over coffee, and every memory that quietly became part of this studio's story.

Every first home comes with a blank canvas.

Designed for a newly married couple, Amaya was imagined as a home that feels warm, effortless, and deeply personal. While the palette stays quiet—soft whites, warm woods, muted greens, and natural textures—the details bring character, creating a space that feels minimal without ever feeling cold.

For us, warm minimalism is not about having less. It's about making room for what truly matters.

A home designed for today, with enough warmth to grow into tomorrow.

Every project teaches us something different.

Stellar taught us that a home doesn't need to be loud to leave an impression.

The brief was to create a space that felt warm, effortless, and deeply connected to the people living in it. A home that could evolve with time rather than feel complete the day it was handed over.

The palette was intentionally quiet, allowing the richness of natural materials to take the lead. Warm woods, tactile finishes, natural stone, and soft layers of colour come together to create a home that feels calm without ever feeling minimal. Every element was chosen not as an individual piece, but for the relationship it would build with everything around it.

Nothing here is trying to stand out on its own.

Instead, the home unfolds slowly. Through changing light, familiar materials, and spaces that invite you to pause a little longer.

For us, Stellar was never about designing a beautiful house.

It was about creating a home that would feel just as relevant years from now as it does today.

Before choosing colours or materials, we always begin with a feeling.

How should this home greet you at the end of a long day? What should the silence feel like? How should light travel through the space?

The answers slowly shaped the palette.

Warm wood to bring familiarity. Natural stone to create a sense of permanence. Muted colours that allow light to become the strongest element in the room. Nothing competes. Everything supports.

When materials are chosen with intention, they stop feeling like finishes. They become part of the home's character.

Long after trends have changed, they continue to hold the same warmth, the same honesty, and the same sense of belonging.

Bathrooms are mood lifters.

They are often the first space we enter in the morning and the last one before the day comes to an end. A place for a slow start, a long shower, a moment of quiet, or simply a pause between everything else.

Perhaps that's why we enjoy designing them so much.

Across projects, each bathroom takes on its own personality — through colour, materiality, light, texture, and detail. Some feel calm and grounding, others playful and expressive. But all of them are designed with the same intention: to create a space that feels good to be in.

Because beyond function, these are spaces that hold everyday rituals.

And sometimes, the smallest rooms in a home can have the biggest impact on how we feel.

This city reminded me that inspiration hides in the smallest things—a chipped tile, a morning chai, the hum of life on every street.

It started with light.

Not the tile, not the pattern. Light. The way it moves through a jaali, breaks across a floor, pools in corners and shifts through the day. In older spaces, this was never left to chance. Jaalis were designed to do exactly this, to filter, to soften, to give a room its rhythm. That intention is what this collection is built on.

Made in collaboration with Bharat Flooring, each tile is poured and pressed by hand from cement, slowly, the way things were made before speed became the measure of quality. The variations you see in color and surface are not inconsistencies. They are the point. Proof that a person made this, not a process.

Designed by Richa Bahl Design Studio, the collection brings traditional geometry into contemporary spaces without apology or nostalgia. These forms have always worked. They still do.

The goal was never decoration. It was rhythm. Light, form, material, and the quiet memory of how spaces once made people feel.

A new collaboration with Bharat Flooring. Handmade cement tiles. Geometry rooted in craft, and an older, more honest way of making.
