To the WONDERFUL people who have contacted us from all over the world wondering about FS (during this surreal period of American history), I want to reassure YOU we are doing GREAT, immersed in MEANINGFUL projects with BEST ALWAYS in our thoughts and minds, while working with some of the most AMAZING and CREATIVE people in media.
There are the naysayers out there--hiding behind a mask, that exist to tear down those of us who boldly forge a path into the unknown instead of existing for likes on Facebook--because they have no idea how to CREATE something NEW, BEAUTIFUL and LASTING. Pray for them... As they're only spectators in life, not participants...
We don't ever, ever, ever let the naysayers sway us from our quests, or to quote Kipling: "filling the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds of distance run."
We encourage YOU to do the same... to run ahead... to BUILD something GOOD.
Upwards and onwards!

Dear friends and distinguished colleagues, it's my sincere hope that you (and your families) are ALL doing well in life and in work!

On this end, we are gratefully doing GREAT--thanks God :)...

And just as the new image of me on the summit ridge of Vinson Massif in Antarctica expresses, we are climbing upwards and well on our way to a far reaching and exciting future, even in the shadows of the uncertain times we live in...

In the coming days and weeks and months ahead I'll try to be better about sharing how FS has--along with some amazing friends and partners---not only survived China's pandemic but is eagerly looking forward, not back....

I encourage everyone to recommit themselves to their own respective "climbs", for it's in reaching for the greater heights--hard as that may be--that you can soar...

VETERANS DAY
As the daughter of a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army, I vividly remember my dad being so very proud of his time in service of this great country. Though it is in dire need of restoration, this painting of my dad in uniform is a reminder of the reverence, pride and profound gratitude that we hold for him and all of our veterans.

To all of our vets, we offer our sincere and heartfelt thanks for your selflessness and service to protect this wonderful country!

ART IS ALL AROUND US • DULUTH, MN
We are excited to bring a new installment to our page, called Art Is All Around Us. AIAAU posts will showcase everything from signage to architecture and beyond that we stumble upon while roaming our world. To start us off, here is a sweet building in Duluth on the shores of Lake Superior. Its old world charm looks like something right of a Main Street USA, but this here is the real deal!

MERCURY BONHOEFFER ANGEL AWARD
Over the weekend, we tuned in to a very special Facebook Live streaming of Mercury One’s M1 Ball in Dallas, Texas. The first Mercury Bonhoeffer Angel Award—whose statuette was inspired by one of our beloved angel sculptures—was presented to Glenn Beck for his vision of starting in Mercury One and all of the amazing and impactful work they’ve done around the world through the Nazarene Fund, disaster relief and other initiatives.

A bit of background—
The award is named for Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German pastor, theologian and fearless N**i fighter known for his opposition to National Socialism. Though his ties to the conspiracy to overthrow the N**i regime ultimately led to his ex*****on in 1945, Bonhoeffer’s legacy lives on through his theological writings, regarded as classics throughout the Christian world.

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY
Dylan, a 12-year-old volunteer at the Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue, built a Lego doggy wheelchair to help an injured young puppy named Gracie maneuver a bit more comfortably. Though she is fully mobile on her own, the cushioned contraption keeps her chest and spine safe and as she grows, only more Legos are needed to continue to support her! Such a sweet story and rather ingenious design!

A disabled dog can now run and fetch a ball with ease after a volunteer at an animal rescue group fashioned her a wheelchair made of LEGOS.

A FANTASY LAND
While sorting through our archives, we rediscovered this concept we had the pleasure of working on several years ago. The larger-than-life mushroom dome lookout structures and gargantuan vines were such fun to design and really invoked a sense of enchantment and fantasy in this fairy wonderland.
