Jordi Ferrandiz collaborated with Generalitat Valenciana on another festival campaign local to him in Valencia, Spain — The Fogueres de Sant Joan 🔥 This festival takes place in Alicante around the Summer Solstice, celebrating the season with bonfires, music, and fireworks. Jordi illustrated the official poster for the festival, depicting a woman in traditional costume blending with symbolic fire. His artwork was seen all throughout the city, reproduced at a large scale.

John S. D***s recently created an illustrated map for the Smithsonian’s Commemorative Guide to Washington D.C. celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The map references many of the museums, collections, discoveries, artifacts, and stories that make up the Smithsonian experience.

Kathleen Fu is already well known for her birds–eye perspective, Wimmelbilder–style cityscapes that are dense with detail. This one is especially unique because it was drawn from life.

Kathleen traveled to the 77th floor of the M City Condo building — still under construction at the time — to capture the view of Mississauga, Ontario below. She was invited to do the live drawing for the topping off party celebrating the completion of the building’s construction. The finalized artwork is now displayed at a large scale in the lobby of the building, celebrating the iconic landmarks and vibrant communities of the city.
