The true essence of the tradition its about remembering our ancestors, those love ones that have passed away .. on this day we share time with them .. honoring / remembering their anecdotes here in this earth.. we set up an ā€œofrendaā€ a table offering and serve them their favorite foods / drinks, play their fav songs..
It is said they do come down to visit on this day ... some might even feel their presence šŸ§” after all, they are our ancestorsā€¦
