Hello and warmest greetings! My name is Gina Woods and I am a clinical herbalist, nutritionist, massage therapist, doula, yogi/Ayurvedic practitioner, currently living in Washoe territory, South Lake Tahoe CA.
I am the proprietor and head herbalist/medicine maker/educator at Woods Apothecary Academy of Healing Arts. I have 30 +incredible years experience in this craft! I have been honored, since my humble beginnings at the CA School of Herbal Studies, to have grown up with and learned from some of the most legendary herbal elders, teachers, leaders and pioneers in this field. I have continued the work with my businesses, apothecary/herb school, clinical practice, herbal products, birth work, global projects, education, community outreach, guest speaking, writing, gardening etc.
I am looking to collaborate further and deepen relationships with other esteemed herbalists, ethnobotanists, educators, yogis, farmers, therapists, artists, ecologists, revolutionaries, earth stewards, wellness practitioners, and more!
Our world needs this community in this revolutionary time. With the plants as our guides, and this visionary work expanding further in so many dimensions, let’s lift up each other’s work and the planetary healing!
