19 Years of Tot Spot 💛
Our hearts are so full after celebrating 19 years of Tahoe Tot Spot with our community today!
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! For 19 years, Tot Spot has been built with hard work, big dreams, sweat, tears and love. What started as an idea, for Amy Thompson (local business owner of Inversion Gym) has grown into a special place where generations of children have played and created memories.
But Tot Spot would not be here after 19 years without our amazing community!
Thank you for growing with us, supporting us, and helping make Tot Spot what it is today. We are incredibly grateful for every family who has walked through our doors over the past 19 years.
Here’s to 19 years of play, community, memories, and love — and to many more to come! 🥹💛🎉

A Special Thank You 💛
To the incredible local artists who helped make our 19th Anniversary Party extra special!
🎶 DJ Pink Bear and our amazing face painter— thank you for bringing the fun, energy, and kid-friendly beats that kept the party going!
🎈 Our talented local balloon artist, Miss B’s Balloons— thank you for creating such incredible balloon art and adding that extra special touch to our day!
We are so grateful to have such talented and generous people in our community who help make moments like this so memorable. Thank you for being part of our celebration and helping us celebrate 19 years of Tahoe Tot Spot! 💛🎉

Hi friends!
It was with mixed emotions that we saw the announcement that Tiny Seeds Forest School will be closing. We're so grateful for the foundation they created in our community and the countless children and families who had the opportunity to experience the joy of learning outdoors. We hope to honor the path they paved while bringing our own unique approach to outdoor education.

For quite some time, I've dreamed of creating a forest school program of my own. As much as the idea has been on my heart, I never wanted to step on anyone's toes or compete with Tiny Seeds. They were already serving this community so well, and I deeply respected the work they were doing.

When I was earning my degree in Early Childhood Education, I had the opportunity to connect with someone who had experience running a similar outdoor program. Learning from them sparked an even deeper passion for nature-based education and gave me valuable insight into what it takes to create a meaningful outdoor learning environment.

When I saw Tiny Seeds' announcement, I realized this might be the opportunity I've been waiting for to finally pursue this dream. Over the next year, I'll be dedicating my time to continuing my education, learning from experienced forest school educators, and thoughtfully preparing to embark on this adventure.

I'm excited to share that the goal is to launch our new forest school in August 2027!

As we begin planning, I'd love to hear from our community. What would you hope to see in an outdoor program? What would make a forest school meaningful and valuable for your family? Whether it's age groups, schedules, learning philosophies, or special activities, your feedback will help shape this program into something that truly serves our community.

Thank you for your encouragement and support. I can't wait to share this journey with you and, together, create a place where children can learn, explore, and grow through the wonder of the natural world.
