We loved welcoming the wonderful members of Soroptimist of South Lake Tahoe to Valhalla! It was such a pleasure spending the afternoon with this incredible group and sharing more about the history of the Tallac Historic Site. We’re always grateful for opportunities to connect with organizations doing so much for our local community!

What a wonderful day for Soroptimist of South Lake Tahoe! 💙

On Wednesday, our members enjoyed a beautiful picnic lunch and a special tour of Valhalla, the historic boathouse, and the Pope Estate. We learned more about the colorful history of this incredible Tahoe treasure while enjoying good food, friendship, and a gorgeous setting.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Free Lawn Concert Series!

Four concerts. Four incredible afternoons on the lawn. A whole lot of live music, dancing, picnics, cold drinks and summer days at Valhalla.

Thank you to Lindsay Cheek, Uncle Lucius, Osito & Nether Hour for bringing the music, and to everyone who filled the lawn this summer. Seeing this space packed with our community, friends, families and visitors is exactly why we love doing this.

These concerts also take a village.

Thank you to The Sliceshack Betty's Balls Tapas, popcrunchandmunch, South Lake Brewing Company, Perch W**e Company & Midnight Nami for keeping everyone fed, hydrated and happy all summer long.

A special shoutout to Blue Sky Events for helping us bring the sound and stage together all season long. We couldn’t do these shows without you.

A huge thank you to the CCC crews and Valhalla Volunteers who volunteered their time at our concerts and helped us pull off some very busy afternoons on the lawn.

And thank you to Forest Suites Resort & Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa for helping us take care of our visiting artists with lodging throughout the season.

Finally, thank you to Lauren Lindley & Alex Titus for capturing so many of these moments.

We’re pretty lucky to get to do summer like this.

8.8.26 - A moment for the flowers… now that we’re past that. This wedding at Valhalla had it all. Bridal portraits in the historical estate, a ceremony on the lawn, marigolds galore and sunset portraits on the pier. It was nothing short of magic.

Set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror, The Revolutionists is a bold, fast-paced comedy about art, activism, friendship, legacy, and four extraordinary women determined to make their voices heard.

For this production, the experience begins before the first line is spoken. Audiences will step into the world of revolutionary France for an intimate and immersive night of theatre inside the historic Boathouse.

6.31.26 - An incredible evening for Mr. and Mrs. Flowers! We had cocktail hour on a boat, a gorgeous ceremony on the lawn, the perfect sunset photos and a night filled with so much love (and tears) for the newlyweds.

In just three short days, these dancers grew so much in confidence, skill, and friendship. Watching them shine today was the best feeling. 🥹

What a night in the Boathouse!

Life in the Fast Lane brought the music of the Eagles to the Boathouse stage last night for an incredible sold-out show.

From the opening song to the final encore, the room was rocking. Great music, a packed house, and one of those summer nights at Valhalla that we won’t soon forget.

Thank you to Life in the Fast Lane for an amazing performance, and to everyone who joined us and filled the Boathouse!
