The Valhalla Arts & Music Festival is a unique celebration of music and the visual arts, located on the shores of South Lake Tahoe and in the historic Tallac Historic Site.

Calling All Playwrights
Valhalla Tahoe’s 11th Annual One-Act Play Writing Competition is officially open.
Submit your work now through January 19, 2026 (5pm PST).

Winners receive:
• A $500 cash prize
• A two-night stay in South Lake Tahoe
• Your play directed, produced, and performed onstage at the historic Valhalla Boathouse Theatre on May 1 & 2, 2026

Submission Requirements:
• 100–200 word synopsis
• Cast list with gender breakdown
• Set design or diagrams
• One-act written within the last five years
• Maximum length: 45 minutes
• $30 submission fee per entry via PayPal (multiple entries welcome)
