The third annual FREE Tahoe Joy Festival is happening Sunday, June 8 from 12-7PM at Commons Beach in Tahoe City! ✨

Featuring Peter Joseph Burtt and the Kingtide, Matt Axton Music & Badmoon, Mescalito, Lindsay and the Cheeks, and Linka Moja.

Plus students from Tahoe Truckee School of Music.

Tahoe Joy is a family friendly event showcasing regional bands & student musicians, over 30 local artisan vendors, food & beverage trucks, & activities hosted by community environmental organizations.

The festival raises awareness & funds for local nonprofits, with this year’s recipient being Tahoe Truckee School of Music (TTSM).

Tahoe Joy was inspired by Matt Axton’s dad & former Tahoe resident Hoyt Axton, and his hit song “Joy to the World.” The festival aims to spread a little more joy in the Tahoe City community through music, art, & environmental stewardship.

Previously known as The Bread and Butter Band, Lindsay and the Cheeks and the Cheeks is a 5- piece, high-energy group from South Lake Tahoe that is sure to impress! They perform a diverse range of genres, including rock, funk, blues, folk, soul, and more, mixing original songs with popular covers. 🎤🖤
