South Valley Youth Theater

South Valley Youth Theater We are an inclusive youth theater serving the southern Salt Lake Valley in Utah. We produce approximately three productions each year.

We are a new youth theater program serving primarily the southern Salt Lake Valley, although our program is open to all youth, regardless of location of residence.

Here are the details for Grandpa's funeral. I will be driving up to Utah to attend two funerals next week, and would love to see people. His family is trying to gather as many photos of him as possible! So if you have any photos with him, please send them to me or my mom, Catherine Lay . We'll include them in a slide show for his funeral.

It is with great sadness that I let all of our SVYT family know, that after 10 years of beautiful friendships and performances, SVYT is closing. My heart aches, but the rising costs of living in Utah has made it impossible to continue. I love you all and will miss you with all my heart💔

I will be selling many of SVYT's sets,props,costumes and containers during the first two weeks of February. February 5th I will open the storage unit for shopping for costumes/props from 1pm-5pm. 9528 south Bagley Park Rd. If anyone wants information message me.

Sadly the 6:00 cast had to cancel tonight the weather is now clearing up but because of the rain we have to clean the stage to get it ready for our 8:00 show. 8:00 show is planned to go on so if you were planning on coming we're planning on having our 8:00 show. If you had a ticket for the 6:00 show that ticket is a good for any of our remaining shows. AccuWeather shows that that storm has passed.

For those planning on coming to see Peter Pan tonight at this point of time we are still planning on having the show according to the radar we're going through a site storm right now that should be clearing up in about 45 minutes. Expect a 15 to 30 minute delay of the show starting so the show will be starting between 6:15 and 6:30 tonight instead of 6:00 it should not affect the 8:00 show.

Thank you everyone for auditioning for Peter Pan!!! Our Parent meeting will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 17 at Skye Park we will have a brief introduction about SVYT and give you the calendar for the show, as well as collect show fees at that time.
