NEW SSS (super short story)
*Super Short Story*
“Great Day Lewis”
Lewis woke up with a smile on his face; he knew it was going to be a GREAT DAY. After getting dressed, he headed for his car smiling and waving at everyone in his path. “TODAY IS A GREAT DAY!!!” He pulled into the driveway of his baby mama’s house, which normally would bring down his day, but today was different. Before he could make it all the way out the car, Crystal opens the garage yelling out “Come get your son, I got places to be.” Lewis with a smile on his face got out the car and walked slowly up to Crystal. She looked at him confused and said “Why the hell you got that dumb ass smile on your face.” Lewis politely heads Crystal an envelope torn open on one side with a sheet of paper sticking out. “What the hell is this?” Lewis leaned back on the car and while rubbing his chin “read it.” Crystal pulls out the sheet and starts reading out loud “The alleged father is excluded as the biological father of the tested child. The alleged father lacks the genetic marks that must be contributed to the child by the biological father. The probability is paternity is 0%”. Lewis looks at Crystals shocked look on her face and says “Do you see that, do you see that?” “Crystal, you have sent me to jail three times, got my license suspended, and almost had me lose my job because you lied.” “Crystal, I asked you when you first got pregnant was the baby mine, you curse me out and said I was calling you a hoe for even questioning paternity.” While Lewis was talking Crystal had tears running down her face trying to explain but Lewis cut her off. “NO, you had five years to talk let me speak.” “You have taken me through HELL for a child that YOU KNEW was not mine.” “You lied in my face with no kind remorse, only personal gain; whether it was money or using me as your personal “baby sitter.” “Today I came here happy… THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE, because I could call you a liar and have the upper hand for ONCE…but today is the saddest day of life, because my child no longer has a father.”
