📰 EXTRA, EXTRA! Rising Stars is bringing Newsies to the stage this week, and these kids have been working SO hard to get here at our two-week Musical Theater Summer Workshop (Grades 4–8).

Take a look at our newsboys and newsgirls in full rehearsal mode, running scenes, nailing choreography, and channeling every bit of grit and heart this story is known for. Watching this cast go from first rehearsal to a full run has been one of the best parts of our season.

We can’t wait to open this show to family and friends this week! These young performers have poured everything into bringing this story to life, and they cannot wait to share it with you. Grab your seats and come cheer them on!

What a great way to kick off the weekend!

Happening right now: Aaron Swiniuch, Music Director, and Carly Kalivas, Director, are opening Heroes and Villains as part of Little Lights Week 3 at Summer at Stage284. This original production was written by our very own resident Music Director, Kimberly Robertson.

The audience is packed, the energy is electric, and the talent on that stage is absolutely incredible. What a wonderful way to celebrate these young performers and all their hard work this week; break a leg! ❤️🎭

☀️ Tomorrow is almost here and it's going to be a great one!

Stage 284's two-week Annie Jr. intensive comes to Topsfield, August 10–21! Students will rehearse and perform a full 60–90 minute production with costumes, props, and more. Two weeks of character work, storytelling, stage movement, and the thrill of three ticketed performances.
