MHC Femmepowered Creating and Supporting Femme Visibility at Mount Holyoke and Beyond.

- We believe that the full inclusion of trans women on campus, both in admissions policies and campus cultural attitudes, is a vital part of addressing misogyny on campus.
- We believe that femininity can be performed in ways that exist outside of societal standards dictated by: white supremacy, (dis/)ableism, ageism, sizeism, cissexism, classism, and sexism.
- We believe that reclaiming forms o

f self-expression that have been vilified for their association with femininity is a powerful way of resisting internalized sexism.
- We believe in creating new masculinities that do not assume masculinity to be more inherently powerful than femininity.
- We believe in the value of lived experience as knowledge.
- We believe that anyone can identify with femme if it resonates with them.
