This is the painting I taught on Friday, October 7, 2022, by way of ZOOM through the Westmoreland County Community College Continuing Education Class. Be watching for the next season's flyer. We all had a nice time. I requested for the students to send a picture of their completed painting to me -- IF they felt comfortable -- and I would post them on Facebook. I don't know if anyone will do that, but THIS IS MY PAINTING created as I taught the class.

Art and Craft Meet Up – Spur of the moment class! Be instant in season and out of season! The white framed painting of Sunflowers (behind me on a shelf) is one of my paintings that I brought along with me to show to Becky. Kait walked in, and we decided to proceed with a class right then and there "on the spot" – a NICE SURPRISE! None of us had ever met before; this is a great way to make new friends and to visit with those you have known for a season.

I visited a nice local craft store in Greensburg, PA, named "Imperfect Creations & Creative Consignments VIP" and ended up teaching a mini-class of two – Owner, Becky, and Crochet Artist, Kait, on Saturday, March 26. We had fun painting Sunflowers with the Donna Dewberry Onestroke Technique of Acrylic on canvas. Neither Becky nor Kait had any previous experience painting in this manner.

Becky wants to display some of my Encaustic, Oil, and Acrylic paintings at her shop for the Art Walk in Greensburg towards the end of April. She has some great things planned for the "Art and Craft Meet Up" events with various local artists. She is hoping for these type of activities to be held every Saturday. Becky says to stop in between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays – if you would like to join in on the fun! I will post the finished paintings soon when we get together again to complete the project. We took our time with explanations, questions and answers, etc., in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. There will be more scheduled classes there in the future as people are interested and sign up. STANDBY! MORE TO COME!

Also – I am working toward teaching the Donna Dewberry Onestroke Technique of Acrylic Painting by way of ZOOM classes. LOTS MORE TO COME FOR THE GLORY OF GOD! It is actually going quite well – FINALLY – with professional assistance!

For many months (turned to years) I have begged, pestered, and pleaded for HELP with this project – with little or NO ONE responding. Though I tried, I didn't want to "GUESS" my way through this technology all alone – or with others that meant well, but were "guessing" right along with me – it HAD to work perfectly. This has been a burning desire on the inside of me, so I just WAITED on the Lord. Being too STUBBORN to give up, I finally found the GEEK SQUAD at BEST BUY, which I highly recommend! It was a Divine Connection for sure!

Shawn has been WORTH THE WAIT! BLESS his heart! He has been helping me to ZOOM right along – this is EXACTLY what I have needed for these many months (turned to years) – an ANSWER TO PRAYER! God DOES break through in His TIME and for His GLORY! I have A LOT of ideas for the Gift of ZOOM to make ROOM and BLOOM from the past GLOOM out of the TOMB, and into the WOMB of new life. VA-VOOM! – COMING SOON! Stay TUNED!

Two ladies attended today's Floral Onestroke Painting class (Wednesday, May 5, 2021); we painted Sunflowers. The lady on the left had a little bit of experience painting along with Donna Dewberry while watching her YouTube videos. The lady on the right had NO EXPERIENCE -- she received a BREAKTHROUGH, though, about half way through class and surprised herself at how well she did! She is happy with her work of art -- they BOTH are! NICE job, ladies!

Two lovely ladies spent some time with me on Thursday, March 18, 2021, creating lovely basic paintings. They have been getting together, painting along with Donna Dewberry on her You Tube videos for several months, and they had questions about some specific Onestroke techniques. I enjoy the smaller classes where we can relax and pay close individual attention to unique details and some of their experiences. We continued with the Rosebuds and Wisteria since it is a good, basic painting. We had fun and laughed a lot. The next time we will paint Sunflowers or Wildflowers, which are also good basic paintings with different types of leaves and some new techniques.

I am just SO PROUD of these three delightful ladies -- we had a Donna Dewberry Onestroke Acrylic Painting class today for three of the nine students that attended the Westmoreland County Community College Continuing Education class on Friday, March 5. We all worked hard in the original class, but I was SO SAD that we didn't complete the painting before the end of class. I offered to work with them ONE on ONE at their convenience to help them finish their painting at GloriLand Art Studio and Gallery on Broad Street in South Greensburg -- at no additional charge. No one had any experience, but I assured them that they would take home a BEAUTIFUL PAINTING -- and they did not disappoint me. Today was a BLESSING to be with them!

I could soon tell that all of the details that I explained in class on March 5 were starting to form into a magnificent work of art. I knew that they were not too far away from grasping the concepts and techniques that I explained repeatedly a few weeks ago. I told them to contact me to schedule a time, to just bring their paintings and supplies to my studio and we would continue with the paintings. These ladies made me so happy today! Thank You, JESUS! Look how BEAUTIFUL their paintings are!

The other six students (men and women) -- contact me and I will help you complete your project from the WCCC Continuing Education Class.

NOTE:
I intend to teach painting classes in the future by way of ZOOM -- then if the students need any extra assistance, we can do that at GloriLand Art Studio, also. I have A LOT of ideas with using ZOOM -- COMING SOON!

The prices are as follows for a scheduled three-hour class:

One-on-one with Gloria: $50 per student
Two or three students: $45 per student
Four or five students: $40 per student
Six or more students: $35 per student

NOTE:
Classroom is limited to four students at this time for social distancing. Masks are optional at this time.

$10 per student -- per extra hour(s) if needed (in addition to the original three-hour class).

All Scheduled Classes must be pre-paid and are non-refundable.

One of the students, Mary Ann, attended the Donna Dewberry One Stroke Acrylic Painting class at the GloriLand Art Studio and Gallery in South Greensburg, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

Mary Ann had never worked with the One Stroke technique before, but I could tell that she listened intently to everything I explained. It was amazing to see that she knew when something was not quite right. She would pause and practice the Stroke until she "got it" -- and then tried again. The result and reward for her hard work is this BEAUTIFUL painting of Cardinals that she is delighted with.

Mary Ann has attended "Painting With A Twist" before, but this is the first time that she attended a "Painting With A Blessing" class.

It was great meeting new friends and spending a chilly, rainy Saturday afternoon in the cozy comfort of the GloriLand Art Studio and Gallery.

If anyone would like to schedule a Donna Dewberry One Stroke Acrylic Painting Class, the prices are as follows:

One-on-one with Gloria: $50.00 per student
2 or 3 in class: $45.00 per student
4 or 5 in class: $40.00 per student
6 or more in class: $35.00 per student

I will provide all of the supplies you will need for your painting.
No experience necessary; men and women welcome.

Class is three hours long, beginning with a lot of practice and detailed explanations, emphasizing how to paint the basic strokes, how to position the brush, double-load the brush with paint, etc. Once you learn the basic strokes, everything else will come easily; I felt it was important to add the extra hour before we actually start the painting. The more you paint, the more "automatic" the One Stroke technique becomes.

At this time, class size is limited to four because of social distancing.

Scheduled classes must be PRE-PAID and NON-REFUNDABLE.
Unfortunately, I have learned THE HARD WAY to require this.
People are much more careful to "show up" if paid in advance.
TWO out of SIX "showed up" for this class, but we had fun anyway.

Donna Dewberry’s Technique of One Stroke Acrylic Painting

A PAINTING CLASS is scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. to Noon at WCCC (Westmoreland County Community College) Adult Education Classes at the Youngwood, Pennsylvania, Campus. There is still time to register.

Using the Donna Dewberry’s One Stroke painting method, you will learn how to load your brush with two different colors of acrylic paint to blend, highlight and shade, along with the proper brushstrokes to create flowers, vines, etc.

You will leave class with an 11” x 14” canvas of Rosebuds and Wisteria that you painted.

No experience necessary.

A Supply List will be mailed to registered students.

I recently painted THREE SETS of wooden Angel Wings with matching Picture Frames. The frames can be used Horizontally or Vertically for a standard size 8" x 10" photograph. The Angel Wings attach with VELCRO so you can change the picture as desired, in Portrait or Landscape mode.

I am still getting new ideas to try, so this project is still in the experimental stage. I tried three different shades of brown -- let me know your opinion -- which color you like best.

NOTE: My Level II Certification Certificate for Donna Dewberry's Onestroke Technique of Acrylic Painting is displayed in the very first set that I painted.

All three of these sets have SOLD at $50 per set plus $3 PA Sales Tax -- also Plus Shipping where applicable. Let me know if you would like to order one or more handpainted sets from me.
