Wow, The Greater Adirondack Toy and Comic Show landed the Return of TMNT Artist Jim Lawson!!! He is truly a Fan Favorite when he comes here …. Maybe have to have him sign some softballs and baseball to raffle off ….

2nd GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT :
We are Pleased and Excited to Announce that after Popular Demand the RETURN of TMNT Artist Jim Lawson
Jim’s career in comics began in 1986, when he first joined Mirage Studios- owner and publisher of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Mirage at the time was a tiny group of misfit artists brought together by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird to help shepherd the massive growth of what would soon become a global licensing empire.
Jim's role focused on the comics, which continued to be black and white during his time at Mirage. Besides the main TMNT title, Jim worked on various other comic titles, doing over 6000 pages of comic art!
Jim’s days at Mirage Studios officially ended in 2014, years after TMNT was sold to Viacom/ Nickelodeon (2009). In total, Jim worked on the Turtles for 28 years, making him one of the rare artists having the longest run with a single property.
Jim currently creates comics and self-publishes, the only remaining Mirage artist to do so. A partial list of his titles include: Guzzi LeMans, A Walk Through Dinosaurland, Dragonfly, Hellride, Dinosaur Head Cat and The Box City Wallops. Jim also does commission work and the occasional cover.
