Hello to all the Mays Family Light Show people lol

If anyone knows of or has a 30-foot solid flagpole that needs to be taken down or has one to sell, let me know. We have one of the Service First section flagpoles and are constantly trying to make it stiff so it doesn't flex as badly as it does. If you know of a building that's getting new flagpoles and has the old ones still or a building being taken down with flagpoles, let me know. I'll go take it down and transport it. 30ft, 35ft, whatever.

THE 2025 SHOW HAS COME TO AN END
WITH THE RAIN TODAY, TEAR DOWN HAS NOT BEGUN.
WE WANT TO THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO VISITED OUR DISPLAY AND WERE RESPECTFUL TO OUR NEIGHBORS AND NEIGHBORHOOD.
ONCE AGAIN, WE DID NOT HAVE ANY MAJOR ISSUES OR COMPLAINTS. WHICH WE GREATLY APPRECIATE
YOU GUYS ROCK AND SEE YOU ALL IN 2026!!

TONIGHT IS THE FINAL NIGHT OF THE DISPLAY FOR THE SEASON
THE DISPLAY WILL BE COMING DOWN STARTING TOMORROW MORNING… RAIN OR SHINE
IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT AND WANT TO, TONIGHT IS YOUR FINAL CHANCE!!

ON UNTIL 10 PM AND THEN DARK UNTIL BLACK FRIDAY 2026

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET
DECEMBER 27TH IS THE FINAL SHOW DAY!!
December 24-25th will run until 11pm
December 26th- 27th will run until 10 pm and Saturday at 10pm they will turn off until 2026.

The last few days traffic has been crazy, and visitors have gone through the roof.
It’s best to enter from woodland dr and park and walk up.
Our streets are narrow and all the vehicles maneuvering is pretty tough.
We sincerely appreciate all the love and support we have received this season and we ASK ( not demanding or telling anyone what to do by any means since this is a free country of course )
That visitors continue to respect our neighborhood and neighbors.
Would hate to be a Karen as someone called us online and have to take action lol

Unsure where the disconnect is, but last night we received multiple messages regarding the smell of a certain plant in the air. At one point, we had 50+ people, mainly children, on the driveway and running through the sidewalk tunnel at any given time. The next step is to shut down the show if we continue to get messages regarding it. Children do not need to be breathing that in because some people are too selfish and feel the need to alter their state of mind for a family-run Christmas light display intended for children. We don't have to do what we do at our home, and if it does not stop, we will go dark. We will not put children's safety and health at risk for the sake of a few who cannot attend a light display without altering their state of mind. You can do what you want in your house, but not in front of ours. We sincerely apologize to everyone who has had to explain to their children that a skunk may be around. We cannot police it, but we can shut it down.

Now that we are on the final weekend before Christmas,
Lights will be on until 11pm Friday and Saturday

Sunday- Wednesday until 10pm

Christmas Eve and Christmas will be until 11pm

After Christmas it will go back 10pm for the remainder of the season

LAST NIGHT WILL BE SATURDAY DECEMBER 27th

At 10pm on Saturday the 27th the display will be off until the 2026 season.

LAST NIGHT IS SATURDAY DECEMBER 27th with a end time of 10PM

We apologize for not using the fog machines tonight to enhance the moving heads on the roof. With the wind we're currently experiencing, the fog was disappearing faster than we could produce it. The wind isn't blowing in the direction we need it to, and it's moving really fast out there. Instead of wasting fog fluid, we just turned them off for the night.
With what it costs to do what we do for everyone to enjoy, it just made sense to save the fluid for another night

Whoopsy daisy! We would like to sincerely apologize to our neighbor Kevin, lol. The moving heads may or may not have had a glitch tonight and possibly blasted two of the beams right into their window on the side of the house. If you were at the show and it suddenly went dark but you still heard the sound, that's why. We apologize if you were out there and it messed with your viewing. As soon as I saw the backyard light up like it was daytime, I hit the panic button (any stop button I could find for the show) and rebooted everything. That problem has been solved, and we know why it happened. Again, to our neighbor Kevin, next time put on some sunscreen, lol. Sorry about that one!
