Today is National Train Day! VMRA wishes everyone had a wonderful day and enjoys the beautiful weather this weekend; definately a great oppurtunity to catch some trains in the wild! FYI - We are at the West Chicago Library, NOT at the museum. The location was mixed up in the newspaper. We are all set up and running at the West Chicago Public Library. Anyone is welcome to come run our trains.

We were at the Great Midwest Train Show last Sunday. We had some some connection issues and couldn't post during the show. We had visitors running trains from show open to close. Sorry for the slow start, we had a few broken wires.

If you want to run trains please check out our calendar. We still have about 15 more events to go this year. We have 3 library events, Pullman, a few private events, as well as the monthly Great Midwest Train Show. And you can always message us with questions.

We are at the Great Train Show, Ft Wayne, IN. Letting everyone run trains, 10am to 4pm. Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, 4000 Parnell Ave, Ft Wayne IN 46805.

As always anyone any age can run our trains.

Added a video from the show so that everyone can see what we do. We really do let anyone run our trains. Ft Wayne was a fun show. The kids kept us busy all day. We had 6 trains running and most of them were out of the yard all day.

Having a great time at the Mad City Train Show in Madison, WI! Working with hundreds of kids to let them get their hands on our trains! We have had a line all day, young and old train lovers. Anyone can run a train! Step up and pick your train!
