This is my Mom & my grandson Elijah.
This wonderful woman passed away 1 month ago.
This is a letter to my stepson.
I don't have to mention names. You know who you are. This woman in this picture gave you her time & considered you a grandson. When your stepson & birth son came to her house, she considered them her great grandchildren. When you came to town she watched them for you. She loved you & she loved them. When you came to town with your family on Thanksgiving, she not only fed you & your family but your friends' family also. She even crocheted a beautiful set for your new son when he was born. I left the house so you would come to pick it up. You didn't. You missed an opportunity with her.
Whatever happened between you & I was between us, but her, my mother she did not deserve to be tossed aside like used tissue. That woman who called you grandson she was different. She deserved more respect than you gave. You missed out on one of the most incredible loving women who had ever entered your life. You haven't made me angry. Disappointed. I thought more. Btw.. if it wasn't for that woman, you may not have made it to MCA. She helped with the gas & vehicle. Without MCA, you wouldn't be where you are. That woman, my mother & a woman who considered you her grandson loved you & worried about you while you were overseas. She wasn't a person to be tossed to the side. Me? I can take it. But her...she wondered why. She was nothing but good. I hope you see this. Read it. Then, I hope you understand the opportunity of family you missed out on & love you missed out on.

Our beautiful mother & grandmother, Pat Marshall, passed away on July 20, 2025. We had a simple family graveside service.
To honor her, we will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Little Creek Park. Shelter 2 at 2pm. To honor moms love of cooking & cooking shows, please bring your favorite family party food or picnic recipe. This gathering is to celebrate her & her joy in life. Family, friends, fellow teachers & past students are welcome. Come celebrate this beautiful woman, mother, grandmother, teacher, singer, artist & Christian woman with us. ❤️

You were my first big dog heart to care for. Your family didn't replace you they just found other furry kids that needed a family. I think you'd like them.
You were one of a kind & I can't believe you've been gone 8 yrs & I'm sure you have doggy angel wings.

Vintage After Six by Rudoko Tuxedo Jacket for sale. I purchased it at a vintage shop in Marietta, GA, about 23 yrs ago. The pockets are slit at the sides. It has 1 small tear on the front, right. I've worn 2x. I loved it when I purchased it. But, my now ex guitar playing, singing, cheating husband started wearing it as part of his stage wear. I was going to keep it but recently saw a photo of him with it on & one of the many "ladies" (I use the term loosely) he probably cheated with.
So.. I'm saying goodbye to it!! I burned anything he bought me, except the jewelry. That I kept.
