Congrats to brand new Vermont Pinball League Grand Champion DOUG BLACKMORE! This is his first ever league victory, and he made it happen by taking first place on eight of 12 games, and second place on the rest. Doug didn't have a single third or fourth place finish all night! Truly the mark of a champion. Congrats Doug!
Second place was secured by KRIS LACROSS, third by CHRIS THOMAS, and fourth by TIM NEILSON. Chris & Kris were in the same group for all three rounds, and finish with just a two point difference from one-another.
SHOUT OUT to the aptly named "Group Of Death" consisting of Connor, Eric, Jamie & Bill. These top players were all matched up together in round one, and the epic battle between them lasted for two hours on just four games of play. Perhaps it was energy spent on this round that none of them managed to make the final group, but it was truly epic to watch until the final ball of the final game was played!
In the B-Division, MIKE HAVENS stole everyone's lunch money and ended as Grand Champion! Mike is now the only Grand Champion of both A & B divisions. BEAU BLANCHARD, also a former league champion, finished a very close second. COLEMAN PAPA-MUSGRAVE finished in third place, and PHIL STEVENS lasted to the final round to take fourth!
It was a great day filled with top scores and exciting play! Pingolf is up now, and no leagues will be played again until September, so get your fill while you can!
