Morris Performing Arts Center The Morris Performing Arts Center, originally the Palace Theatre until the late 1950s, was built in 1922 as part of the Orpheum Theatre chain.

The Morris Performing Arts Center is South Bend’s historic home for concerts, Broadway, South Bend Symphony, comedy, dance, community events, and world-class live entertainment. The theater cost $1 million to build and was constructed on a $100,000 piece of property. It was the most modern theater in the country at that time. In 2000, the Morris completed a renovation and was listed on the Nationa

l Register of Historic Places. The Morris has a seating capacity of 2,564 and is ranked by Pollstar magazine among the top 100 theaters worldwide. The League of Historic American Theatres (LHAT) awarded the Morris the prestigious national "Outstanding Historic Theatre Award" in 2015.

Celebrate 40 years of the cult classic with Actor’s Cut: Little Shop of Horrors this Sunday at the Morris.

The screening will be hosted by Ellen Greene, the original Audrey, giving fans a rare chance to experience the film alongside one of its most iconic stars.

Come hungry and stay for the music.

From 6:00-8:00 PM, enjoy bite-size samples from participating downtown restaurants, with drinks available for purchase. Then at 8:00 PM, head into the theater for Billy/Elton Live, a high-energy tribute to the music of Billy Joel and Elton John.

Explore hidden spaces rarely seen by the public while hearing chilling tales of mysterious footsteps, unexplained lights, lingering spirits, and performers who may have never taken their final bow. 🎭
