The Shein Trust Teen Tech Institute gives students in grades
5–12 the chance to explore the creative and technical side of theatre through hands-on experience at CIVIC.

Students will discover and learn the art of costuming and lighting, building real-world skills while gaining confidence and a deeper understanding of what it takes to bring a production to life.

What a night! Last night at Script Tease, we officially unveiled South Bend Civic Theatre’s 2027 70th Anniversary Season — and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead! 🎉

Behind the scenes: bringing the story of BETWEEN THE LINES, JR. to life! 📖🔨

The magic of theatre doesn't just happen onstage—it starts behind the scenes! Our set is taking shape, piece by piece—including this picnic table! 🧺

But this isn't just any picnic table. With a little theatre magic, and some strategically placed casters, this table will be able to move wherever the story takes us!

From construction to the final details, there's a lot of creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving that goes into building the world of Between the Lines Jr.
