Hononegah Bowling Team - Information. Your student is invited to join the Bowling Team.
NO CUTS - No Experience Necessary. If you are willing to put the work and have a good attitude you will make the team!
Make new friends, compete, represent your school in an official IHSA letter sport & learn the skills of a sports you can do for your entire life. As a member of the Hononegah Bowling team you will learn the physical & mental parts of the sport of bowling. You will be challenged to push yourself to succeed. You will be expected to represent yourself, your team and your school in an appropriate manner at all times.
College Scholarship Opportunities: The local Northern Illinois Bowling Proprietors Foundation has awarded over 2.1 million dollars to local area high school bowlers. In addition to local scholarship money available to students, collegiate bowling is the fastest growing college sport with hundreds of colleges and universities offering academic and athletic scholarships to students that continue their bowling career at the colligate level.

Oct 26 – Viking Lanes 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM
Oct 27 – Viking Lanes 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM
Oct 28 – Viking Lanes 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM
Oct 29 – Viking Lanes 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM
Oct 30 – No Practice
Girls Team: First week of Practice schedule:
Nov. 16 – Viking Lanes 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM
Nov 17 – Viking Lanes 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM
Nov 18 – Viking Lanes 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM
Nov 19 – Viking Lanes 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM
Nov 20 – No Practice
Transportation:
For students that do not drive and for those without parental rides, a one-way Activity Bus will run from the school to Viking Lanes for daily practices.
The Activity Bus departs from the school at 3:25 p.m. (Salem Street - Field House)
Please feel free to call, text or email with any questions. If your student does not have their own bowling ball yet, no problem - the team has plenty of equipment that students may use free of charge.
