Hello all! Unfortunately with the soggy weather for most of tomorrow and then an upcoming cold snap, tonight (Sat. Dec 27th) will be our last night of light shows, closing out the 2025 season! ☹️ We hope you have enjoyed seeing the lights as much as we enjoy bringing them to you--please come back and see us again in 2026!

Hi Everyone! I figure most people were not very adventurous and driving out in yesterday's snow event to look at lights--we personally saw 1 car and a snowplow watching our show. 😉👀 So after some updates today, here is the link to this year's suburban Christmas Light Google Map! https://bit.ly/SuburbanChicagoChristmasLights2025
Here are some highlights for this year:
❄️Santa's Rock N' Lights (drive-thru) was previously in Grayslake, it moved to Geneva last year and is still at that location. But they have also added a drive-thru in Wrigleyville.
❄️I could not find any evidence of an extensive outdoor light installation at Navy Pier--it appears that "Light Up the Lake" has been rolled into the "Winter Wonderland" of years' past (which is mostly indoor activities).
❄️The GLOW festival in Joliet at the Slammer's stadium is not active this year--they only have a location in Minnesota.
❄️The Merry Swiftmas House (you know the one) on Atlas Ln. in Naperville is still Taylor Swift-themed, but rumor has it this will be their last year with that theming
❄️Cantigny in Wheaton has Wicked-themed lighting on select weekends, see their website for details
❄️Some of the larger displays close to us are not active this year. That includes South Barrington Lights (their last year was 2024 and they are no longer doing their show), and Mack Manor in Fox River Grove. Mack Manor is typically a drive thru inflatable display, but it's inactive this year and next year's Christmas display will be their last. However if you stop by our display, swing by the Arboretum of South Barrington, they have some neat large-scale items as usual
❄️Several other walk-through or musical displays are inactive, just check the map or corresponding details before you head out! And as usual I try to update the map with contest info as it comes out throughout the season. If you want your house added or details updated, send us a message through this page!

Beautiful sunset on the eve of Thanksgiving... We are truly grateful for family, friends and the togetherness that this holiday brings! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Our lights will turn on Friday and be on from 5-10pm daily until the weekend after Christmas. Enjoy your holidays and stop by and see us! 🦃❤️

🌟 Santa's Rock N' Lights (drive-thru) moved from Lake Cty Fairgrounds to Geneva/Kane Cty Cougars stadium parking lot
🌟The World of Illumination drive-thru at Six Flags Great America is not running this year, they claim they will return in 2025
🌟 New Glow Holiday Festival in Joliet at the Slammer's Stadium. This show originated in Minnesota
🌟 If you're Taylor Swift fans, check out Cantigny in Wheaton on Sundays (except Dec. 22)--you'll need advance tickets, some dates are already sold out. Also the house on Atlas Ln. in Naperville that went viral last year, has a new spin on its "Merry Swiftmas" theme 🎼🎸
🌟 The Goebbert's Drive Thru and Larsen Light Show in Pingree Grove have even MORE lights, and different show styles on different nights of the week. Make sure you check the schedule and pricing, and buy a ticket online before you head out!
🌟 Our South Barrington neighbors to the south in the Glen have said this will be their last season so check them out at South Barrington Lights!
🌟 Lights on Revere started up last Friday and we're on every day from 5-10pm! Stop by to see us!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve everyone! 🦃 Some final fixes were made, setup was completed today and our show will be starting on Friday, Nov. 29th at 5pm! Enjoy the day tomorrow as you gather with family and friends and give thanks! Hope to see some of you on Friday. 😊 Our regular show hours are 5pm-10pm daily.

There are some interesting changes for a few of the larger displays in our area.
1) Larsen Christmas Light Show / Epic Light shows is no longer doing shows on their home in Campton Hills. Instead, a replica of the house was built on the grounds of Goebbert's Farm in Pingree Grove. Some of you might know that Epic Light Shows has been running the drive through display at Goebbert's for a few years now. Anyway the house is not just a replica... it's a bigger and better version, it will have MORE lights, fire, lasers, and a roof appearance from Santa! In their words, it's going to be epic! They are still working out pricing, but it won't be free. And it will be a separate price from the Goebbert's drive through. They hope to have it ready by Dec 1st. I'm pretty sure we will be going for the sheer spectacle of it all!
2) Amaze light festival that was at Impact Field in Rosemont in 2021, has moved to Tinley Park's Odyssey Fun World in 2022 (after a dispute with the Village of Rosemont, but we won't get into that, LOL). The display is in the parking lot, but the toy shop and sweet shop are in the main building. Food vendors will also be on site.
3) Sparkle Light Festival will be going on at Impact Field in Rosemont in place of Amaze. This is probably similar to the format of Amaze but I haven't seen any reviews yet.
4) No more Holiday in the Park at Six Flags, whomp whommmmp...
5) I can't find any evidence of the Manchester Lights display that went on for years (Naperville), that went to a church last year. The website is still up but it's last year's info.
6) Let it Shine drive through in Aurora at Fox Valley Mall is no longer, but they still have Schaumburg and Northbrook.
7) After 12 years, Mooseheart announced earlier this year that they discontinued their free drive through display in Aurora.

If none of those PAID displays strike your fancy--there are PLENTY of free displays out there, including ours! 🤩And shout out to South Barrington Lights (just south of us in the Glen), whose show is going to be over the top this year! So swing by and see us, you might even get a free candy cane if we see a line out there! Or if you know us, text for your candy cane and elves will come out!
