This day was a long time coming. South Acworth puts on a wonderful music festival every year to keep the historic general store open. We've been friends of the community for a long time and it's always such a lovely group of people to spend time with. To participate as a vendor this year was so much fun. We talked to so many nice people and sold lots of great shirts. I even sold the hat right off my head. 🤩 Seeing people enjoying my work was so freakin' cool. I've made it all in relative isolation so to have so much positive feel back was amazing. I'm not sure what's next, I am still in recovery phase, but one things for sure, I'll be back in South Acworth next year with even more to bring to the party. 🥳🥳🥳

After a very long process, I finally got Ken's monster of a geode tied. In an attempt to make it awesome I tied every bit of it as much possible. Did I do too much? We shall see. Yesterday I got to the dye at last. That also took a long time, but once you get started you have to keep going. Today I got several experimental projects done that were fast to prep. and used the extra dye I mixed yesterday. I like to use the dye that's a bit tired because it gives different tones. The dye is viable for 48 hours, but begins to degrade as soon as it's mixed. I'm so excited to see the results tomorrow.

Work is slow, but I'm back at it. I hope to be posting again soon. This will be a geode for a very special person's birthday. A bit late though. So far I have been working on it for over a week. I can only do a little at a time. My work might be the most well thought out tie dyes ever. Some days thinking about it is as far as I can get. 😁

Pre-wash wet. It will not be quite as bright when dry, but I'm excited about the results and wanted to share. I'll post the finished result later.

I'm super excited about the way this Wig Wag came together. Tie dyeing sure does teach patience. I think I will batch this one for 24 hours. I don't think I'll be able to wait longer. 🤩🤩🤩

Welcome Everyone! If you have come over from the View from YOUR window group a special Welcome and Thank-You. I'm blown away from the response of that community. There are so many kind people in the world. I hope to be posting and selling lots of groovy goodies soon. I am still having my challenges physically and I have many painful treatments to get through, so progress might be a bit slow. Hang in with me and I promise to Wow and Delight. This was meant to be a black and grey spiral but the outcome was a bit blah, so I though why not try a bit of rainbow pizzazz. I reversed the spiral on the second dye and I really love the results. I'm really into the blue I mixed. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
