A beautiful, heavy impasto landscape of a scene south of San Luis Obispo, California by Mike Wright (American, b.1959). Layers of golden hills are painted with expressive brushstrokes, with small, deep greem shrubbery accenting the bottoms. Towards the top of the canvas, a sliver of the bright blue sky is visible.

Cypress Tree Sunbeams - Black & White Landscape Photograph

Beautiful black and white photograph of cypress trees with light radiating through by Jeffrey Conley (American, b. 1969), c.2006. The angle of the photograph and brightness of the light gives this piece an abstracted feel. The strong beams of light shine through the trees and illuminate layers of crossing branches.

Lively Geometric Abstraction - Original Painting with Mosaic Color Blocks

This bold painting by an unknown artist features areas of tiled color with twisting, patterned line weaving throughout them. Larger areas of neutral tones are surrounded by small sections of purple, white, yellow, and green. These smaller paint tiles resemble the patterning of mosaics or textiles, connecting the piece to the pattern and decoration movement, as well as geometric abstraction. The artist adds depth to this piece through the selective glazing of reds and yellows over areas of the pattern.

Green on Blue - Original Abstract Composition in Acrylic on Canvas

Intriguing abstract composition by California artist Charles "Dave" Francis (American, 1951-2018). Through the use of a limited color palette, Francis uses this piece to explore the tension between colors of a similar but distinct hues. The background of the piece is painted in a red-leaning light blue color, which is then contrasted with deep pthalo green drip work. The use of these two colors highlights the difference between them, making the blue appear more purple and the pthalo more green than either color would appear on its own. This interplay is then accented through the use of subtle yellow detailing along the bottom portion of the composition.

California Hills and Water Landscape Painting, Signed

Skillfully rendered landscape of rolling hills, trees, and a water source by A. Meyer. This atmospheric piece utilizes layers of soft, transparent color to create a sense of depth and light. Subtle but visible brushwork further enhances this piece, providing it with a slightly impressionistic feel. The handling of light is particularly strong in the reflections of the water.

Geometric Abstract Original Oil on Canvas 1980s
This unknown artist expertly explores the tension between bold physical presence and quiet, open space. Dominated by deep, matte black graphic blocks juxtaposed against a vertical cascade of soft, pale teal ovals, the artwork embodies the mid-century modern pursuit of balance. Its textured neutral canvas exposes subtle brushwork and overlaid tones, inviting viewers to experience a dialogue between heavy graphic geometry and weightless fluid form. This particular piece challenges our perception of structure, Mort's arrangement of bold black masses floating alongside quiet, organic shapes creates a serene yet deeply grounded atmosphere. It highlights how mid-century abstraction continues to influence modern spaces and design aesthetics.

"HAREM" Large Scale Mid Century Hard Edge Abstraction by Felix Ruvolo

Dynamic piece by Felix Ruvolo (American, 1912-1992). This piece exemplifies late-1960s pop art and hard-edge abstraction, with interlocking bands of saturated color and smooth, controlled transitions. Achieved through careful masking, the composition emphasizes flatness, clarity, and chromatic relationships. There is organic curvature with crisp boundaries, characteristic of post-painterly hard edge abstraction and Color Field influences.

"The Warming Sun" Stormy Day on a Fall Evening by Quince Galloway
The Warming sun by Oakland artist Quince Rudolph Galloway (American, 1912-2003).

Signed Quince Galloway SWA (South Western Arti Association)
This 1980 rural landscape painting by the artist Galloway captures the quiet drama of American country life through a masterful use of light and contrast. Rendered in a realistic style evocative of twentieth-century American Regionalism, the composition features a brilliant white gabled barn and two towering silos illuminated by a sudden burst of low sunlight. This vibrant foreground—filled with golden, wind-swept autumn grass and deep blue tree shadows—stands in stark, atmospheric relief against a heavy, brooding storm sky. The inclusion of a distant flock of birds in flight injects a subtle sense of movement and fleeting time into an otherwise tranquil, timeless pastoral scene.

Green & Grey Abstract Geometric Composition in Oil on Canvas

Vivid abstract with green and grey patterned triangular shapes with heavy impasto texture by Tara McDonald (American, 20th Century). Green, grey, and tan triangles dance together, creating a pleasant pattern of distributed color. Bright blue underpaint peeks through in some areas.
