🎭 The countdown is ON! There is only one week left to register your kids for the Sopchoppy Youth Theater Summer Camp! 🌟

💡 Not sure if your child is the “theater type”? Don’t worry!

This camp is about so much more than just acting on stage. We’ll be playing high-energy team games, exploring outdoor playground fun, making creative crafts, and building confidence in a collaborative environment. It’s a fantastic way for any kid to burn off some morning energy and make new friends!

🗓️ Dates: July 6–10, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

✨CONCERT ADDITION ALERT ✨

There has been so much excitement for our upcoming Girls of Summer concert series that we decided to make it even bigger! We are thrilled to announce that we’ve added two incredible artists to the lineup as our openers for each night: Lindsay Sparkman and Mimi Hearn!

Opening on our first night is Sopchoppy native Lindsay Sparkman. While she loves her daily work with children as an elementary assistant principal for the Wakulla County School Board, music has always been her first love. Deeply inspired by her father, a jazz and blues pianist, Lindsay grew up surrounded by music and performing alongside him. Today, she brings that lifelong passion to the stage with a versatile style, regularly playing local venues, festivals, and churches, and covering songs you wouldn’t typically expect from a female vocalist.

Opening our other night is the wonderful Mimi Hearn! A longtime local musician, Mimi is a familiar face and a name well known by many in our community. We are so honored to have her seasoned talent kicking off our Saturday show.

Our last (but certainly not least) artist to join this concert series is the incredibly talented The Dolce Trio !

The Dolce Trio is an all-female, three-piece acoustic band based in Tallahassee, Florida. This soulful group features three songwriters and a beautiful blend of voices, guitars, upright bass, and mandolin. Known for their rich harmonies and intimate energy, they perform a captivating mix of original compositions and unexpected covers that you don’t often hear.
The trio brings together seasoned local musicians, including Kelly Goddard on guitar, Elizabeth Fravel on standup bass and guitar, and Gillian Canning on mandolin.

We can’t wait for them to bring their warm, storytelling style to the Sopchoppy stage.
