I NEED HELP!
We had to rush Dean Paine to the hospital last night and he was medi-vac-ed to a hospital in Oakland. He has pneumonia, a UTI, and a blockage to his kidney(the only kidney). I have daytime caregivers for myself, but I need some help for overnights this weekend. Nothing like nursing, unless, of course you are a nurse. I'm just not ready to stay overnight by myself yet. And quite honestly, I may need a friend for some hugs. I've been warned that Dean's illnesses are very serious and I'm kind of afraid to be alone right now. If you can help me out 1, 2, or 3 nights, please PM me asap. Thanks so much!!!

FINALLY! They built a deck that is big enough for my chair and a flush change from the lift to the deck, to the house. My FIRST TIME getting in to see our new house! And by the time we can actually move in, it will be TWO YEARS from the time of the surgery that started all this...April 1, 2022. Two years. Wow.

🫂👨‍🦼💞Thank you to all of the people that donated in my name to HelpHopeLive.org/campaign/21898 on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28! I feel so blessed that you took the time and money to help us out. And to all the friends and family that donated before and after this event!! I am about to go into an acute spinal rehab facility for 2 or 3 weeks and am hoping to come out stronger and with more tools to help me achieve more independence. It's been almost 2 years since I became a parapalegic and many times I felt like giving up. But I continue to remain on the positive side as I know there's more out there for me. Many of you may not know that I almost died in surgery. Because I survived, I know there was a reason. I just have to get strong enough to find out what the heck I'm supposed to do...besides my art, or maybe because of it. I continue to feel the ups and downs of this life, but with your continued love and support, I know I will find my way. THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE AND KINDNESS!!

GIVING TUESDAY - NOVEMBER 28
Give and receive. Here's a little reminder what's happening on Novembr 28. HelpHopeLive.org has helped us so much on our last round of fund raising , I wish to to thank them and my personal helper from there, Stacia Moak, as we have maneuvered through the many ways that fundraising can help us. Even as an ongoing annual event which we now see we will be needing or a one day online event, as the one happening on NOV. 28. With Thanksgiving coming up, I recall the many years I have lived and worked in Tuolumne County. One of my largest thank you's I have in my heart goes out to my local community. I am thankful for the many trusting and generous folks and businesses that supported me when I had the 35 wonderful years of JG Signs & Designs AND the 7 fun and wonderful years of Brush & Cork!! Wow!! What a wonderful ride I had with so many many people. I have been blessed in so many ways! And working with great folks on the Tuolumne County Women's Network, the Historic Sonora Chamber of Commerce, the Tuo Co Chamber of Commerce, and the Visit Tuolumne board. I have been so blessed to be a part of them all!
I am asking for a little more help now, as I see my physical capabilities more limited than I actually ever imagined. I am looking for two kinds of needed help. The first being more immediate, the second being ongoing.
So the first is donating whatever you can offer on NOVEMBER 28 in my name to Help Hope Live. That day they will cover ALL the ONLINE PROCESSING FEES for all donations. That means more of your donation will come directly to me. If you feel you can help at all, your donation will go farther on that day. You will receive a tax deduction claim for your donation and HHL takes care of all my bookkeeping needs and I don't have to make a tax report for the monies being donated through HHL because they are a non-profit. It's a win-win.
The second thing I need help with is the planning and ex*****on of what I would hope to become an annual fundraiser for me and for The Arts Reach to Schools program. I can't organize a large fundraiser like this myself. I'm hoping for something that can be made into a growing annual event...like a spaghetti feed and art show. Or something that hasn't been done yet, but can be fun for a family event. Maybe even twice a year...winter and spring or spring and fall (I'm just throwing ideas out). I just want it to support the arts for kids and a little ongoing help for me too.

After waiting nine months for Medicare's mountains of bureaucracy I finally have a brand new power chair, made especially for me! It was delivered today! Pics are of my maiden voyage. 🥂😍🦋 Here's to freedom and new transitions!!!

YAY!!! My FIRST OUTING since April 1, 2022 (A YEAR AND A HALF!!!)!!! Lunch in Twain Harte with my Sweetie in our new van!! Never take anything in your life for granted.
One step closer to our fundraising goal! It's a HUGE goal and we are blessed for those folks that have helped us get this far. But we are far from our goal, even now. And we still need your help. We are looking for a large location where we can hold a fundraiser/arts event/ dinner to help raise more money. If you know of a great location or are available to be on a fundraising committee, or food committee, or donation committee, or whatever else kind of committee that I can't think of, please PM me. We need lots of help on so many levels.
