Hand-built bowl with cobalt oxide detail over rock textured seam

I’m cranking work out alternating between hand building and throwing.
I’ve begun the gargantuan task of reclaiming all my clay since 2019
it’s a lot. I’ve reclaimed about 50+ pounds so far and have 150+ more to go!

Her little shovel and garden scissors.
My Daddy’s knife.
He gave it to me (just in case) when I was making 2am solo runs to the south city produce market 3 times a week.
My peony collection- some we discovered when they bloomed a few years after we bought our home.
A few from .side.farm.flowers , which my daughter .shoop and I discovered on a drive home from Bodega Bay, two (that have multiplied) from Mother’s Day gifts and a Dahlia from my brother.

I feel like a collector, a curator of moments and memories sometimes. Little bits of this and that, tethered to special places in my heart and soul.
