‘PATHWAYS’ detail shots. This piece was actually supposed to be much simpler, with painted details that I ended up not liking- so I doubled the amount of work and covered each of the painted areas with another layer of leather with more stitching in finer thread. This piece belongs to the series I started in pregnancy I’m calling ‘Another Language’-
I might have gone crazy if I didn’t make this pivot during that time- and it has marked a whole new willingness to try new things. I had been wanting to branch out for years and just didn’t know where to begin. Full piece to follow✨
