Climate Crisis Cabaret sends huge kudos to Regie O'Hare Gibson (http://www.regiegibson.com/), who participated in our initial Climate Crisis Cabaret back in the Spring. He has now become our state's inaugural poet laureate, acknowledged by our Gov. Maura Healey as being a “talented poet with a proven commitment to community engagement and a deep appreciation for the history, beauty and resilience of our state and our people. He sees his poetry as a means of bringing people together, finding common ground and building stronger communities.” So great!!!

Last night's show was a terrific success on all levels -- fun, engaging, informative, and powerful because it provided ways in which we can collectively work to mitigate what is happening to the environment. CCC offers a way to intermingle activism with theater -- may a thousand cabarets of its type bloom. Curious? There may be some tickets available for tonight's show. “Climate Crisis Cabaret: The Warm-Up”: a fun(ny) activist event to transcend the doom and gloom.

There are definitely some positive groundswell operations happening, when it comes to local climate change activism. Am glad I'm part of the behind-the-scenes of this particular scenario. Am especially looking forward to how actor John K***z (https://bostonconservatory.berklee.edu/directory/john-kuntz) weaves his emcee magic on this CCC start-up "The Warm-Up" performances. He's so great!!!

Huzzah! Evidence that Boston's theatergoing audience will support lively, innovative productions that take on the Climate Crisis -- a kick in the pants to the stage community to get more cabarets and shows about this issue in the works!

Good golly! The tickets for our start-up "Climate Crisis Cabaret: The Warm-up" flew off the shelf within a matter of a few weeks. Meaning that "climate change" is indeed a topic to be reckoned with and tackled by our local performing arts community.

The website https://climatecrisiscabaret.org/ has the following update: "We are SOLD OUT — Please join our mailing list for an invitation to our next Cabaret!" (https://climatecrisiscabaret.org/climate-crisis-cabaret-connect-with-us.html). Since, yes indeed, this is to become an ongoing endeavor. "The Warm-Up" is to get this cabaret ball rolling.
