I first saw Po Shun Leong's incredibly intricate wood pieces on display at a gallery in Concord, MA. I worked nearby and stopped in occasionally on my lunch break to check them out. They had his larger furniture pieces on display and all cost several thousand dollars.
Years later, a shop in Newton, MA was going out of business and I snatched up one of his small art boxes at a more reasonable price.
Just recently I saw a couple of his boxes at The Real Mother Goose shop in the Portland, OR airport.
This book is full of great pictures of his work, so it's worth a look even if you would never attempt one of these projects yourself. There are many used copies available for just a few bucks.
