The Promotion is a 4-piece rock band that plays a wide range of genres including grunge, pop punk, metal, ska, and others. Over the years, they've gained a solid local following with help from their fun, high-energy shows. The Better Fight is classic pop-punk, but grown up (kind of). Retrograde is a pop punk band from New Jersey who made music 10 years ago in high school and split to pursue our dreams. Then right before Covid they met at a coffee shop for a small reunion and realized how much they missed creating with one another thus Retrograde was re-born. Untwisted is NJ based midwest emo/pop punk and their high energy stage show will help shake off the weekday crusties! This high energy show will have you rocking out the whole night long. On July 11, we’re creating our own lineup of Women Who Rock Hard!!!! Ultraviolet NJis no stranger to the Shack, packing the house time and again with their brand of catchy, hard hitting tunes. hail all the way from Bethlehem PA and if you think Hetfield can downpick like a maniac, just you wait!! Leadpetal will deliver a one, two punch that’ll leave you asking for another!!! Raticus Saucius is another fan favorite of the Shack and they make NO apologies. They are loud, in your face, and take no prisoners. Lastly, .germainemusic is a newcomer but no slouch in the rocking department. Together, this lineup will literally, blow you off your feet. Blues is an elemental part of the human condition. The rain to the sunshine. You only appreciate one in the context of the other. Come check out some the best blues NJ has to offer! First up, (Tony Kennette )are a staple in the NJ blues scene regularly gigging, well, everywhere! If you haven’t heard of them, what rock are you living under:)? The Nitro Blues Band are the youngest, hippest , ‘rad’est blues band to be shot out of the blues cannon in decates! Winners of the 2024 North Jersey Blues Society battle of the bands in Carteret NJ, they used the winning money to tour down to Memhpis Tennessee to play at The Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge. We welcome them back to the Rock Shack with open arms as we are still recovering from the last time they were here! The Dirty Shine melodic take on the blues is showcased by their recent single, Take My Hand, a soulful offering of tolerance and understanding in a time of escalated division among ourselves. Last but not least, Function For Fiction is centered around two brothes, Brendan and Trev who have been writing and playing together since 1999 and formed their current trio in 2009. We are super excited to host two very hot, up and coming touring bands from Virginia. Catapult City brings a fresh innovative approach to their music. From anthemic choruses to introspective verses, their songs are a perfect blend of catchy hooks and thought-proviking lyrics. is a high energy, alternative project that embodies the tension of being human, the search for purpose in the in-between. They have quickly gained a reputation for their dynamic live show, promising you won’t just stand and watch-you’re part of the experience. Seamlessly blending genres, COBA combines uptempo rock grooves with introspective electronic soundscapes paired with raw, vivid lyricism. .300 is a local, NJ band with vibes of post punk, indie, slacker rock and is a home grown band from the Somerville area who’s eager enthusiasm and raw chops bodes well for music of the future and will leave you grinning ear to ear. Whimsical nautical hard rock, serious, emo hard rock, blend in a little pop punk and a little alt/garage rock and you have a night to remember. Hailing from the Jersey Shore, the legendary Söūp brew an energetic and progressive take on authentive hard rock/whimsical nautical hard rock. Circle Drive is an emo/alt rock band with deep cutting lyrics and in your face instrumentals that scream POWER! Acoustic Shack, back by popular demand! Grab a complimentary hot beverage and join us for a cozy afternoon of amazing acoustic performances by some of the best in the biz! Robinson Treacher is an award-winning writer whose emotionally dramatic songwriting style, passionate vocals, and homage to multiple genres have won him many awards. Equally storied and awarded, Alex Radus is known as a “sultry crooner” (City Paper) and “master guitarist” (Courier News), but his songwriting takes center stage. Radus pairs whimsical and poignant storytelling with an eclectic mix of Americana, swing, blues, folk and more. .kabbash returns to our stage, this time paired with Peter.
