My friend and forever love Jason Lucia (aka Jason Squamata, Orji Walflauer, Agent Frank Blank, Joe Nothing) sloughed off his meatsuit on June 7th 2025 after a long illness. He is now once again composed entirely of story.

I will miss the satisfaction of surprising him into a cackle.

I will miss the marathon cascades of purple prose we shared betwixt one another, our telepathy, our vertiginous riffage.

I will miss the unconditional and all-enveloping love and friendship that he so effortlessly offered.

His brilliance, his kindness, his wit, his infinite imagination. His WORDS. His IDEAS.

There never was, and will never be, anyone else like him.
