T: An MBTA Musical

T: An MBTA Musical Part love-story, part scavenger hunt, mostly underground. Revel in the trials of commuting on the T.

"T" chronicles the journey of three 20-somethings whose lives have been derailed by the MBTA's shortcomings. When they discover a secret map that will enable them to conquer the evil of the T, they set forth on a colorful journey that is part love story, part melodrama, part scavenger hunt, mostly underground. The show includes lovely moments like "The Shuttle Bus Song (We Can't Handle It)," "The T Within" and "The Bro Song."

"I've taken the wrong way on the green line far too many times to count"
Pearl is thrilled to return to T the Musical. Born in Indiana, Pearl moved to Boston almost 3 years ago. After graduating from Indiana University, she spent 4 years as a vocalist in the U.S. Army Bands. Musical theater gave her a home once returning to civilian life. Since moving to Boston, she has been Sojourner Truth in ‘Truth; Biofictinal Choreo Poem,’ Cindy Lou in ‘Winter Wonderettes,’ and Ronnette in ‘Little Shop of Horrors.’ T was my her show in Boston and she loves the play that this story grants her and the wonderful people friendship she has made in this cast. The T within her is so happy here!

"I once got to the red line to see the digital sign reading 'Boy. Use the Green Line' instead of when the next trains were coming…"
Bridget is an actor, singer, and dancer hailing from central Maine. She is a graduate of Salem State University with a BFA in Theatre Performance and a minor in French. Bridget is so excited to perform in this love/hate letter to a city that she loves and loves to hate! Recent credits include “As You Like It” (Theater in the Open); “The Suppliant Women” (Apollinaire Theatre Company); “A Christmas Carol, The Musical,” “Beautiful, The Carole King Musical,” “Legally Blonde, The Musical” (Emerald City Theatrical); and Little Women, The Broadway Musical (Marblehead Little Theatre). Bridget would like to thank her parents, Mary and Craig, for their endless support as she pursues her dreams, and honor the memory of her luminous actor friend, Alyssa June Fluet.

"I once caught a breakdancer trying to go viral on the green line and get completely wiped out when the train came to an abrupt stop."
Growing up outside Boston, Ken is all too familiar with the T. He never dreamed of using his artistic prowess to call out the corrupt minds behind this half-baked transit system, but life has a wonderful way of working out. He would like to dedicate this performance to the MBTA employee at Copley station who always told him to have a good day as he was getting off the train. Whoever you are, I don't get off at Copley nearly as much as I used to, but I shall never forget you.

"Waited for the Green Line to Riverside for nearly half an hour before realizing I was on the wrong side of the station."
Jason is a Massachusetts resident turned Mainer who's stoked to make his Boston theater debut! He first jumped on stage in 2018 and liked it a lot, so he hasn't stopped since. Some of his favorite roles include Magwitch (Great Expectations), Farmer Zuckerman and the Old Sheep (Charlotte's Web), nine unique characters (Faust in the Anthropocene), Masshole (An Evening at Dave's Sauna), and Macbeth (He can't remember the play's title, it's on the tip of his tongue). You can also see him chilling in the background at the start of a Castle Rock episode. Seeing it will be the best 20 seconds of your life. When not doing all that, he's a regular detective/murder suspect at Mystery 207's immersive dinner theater shows, a clown who makes stuff up with Improv-a-Ganza, a holly jolly elf on the Portland Polar Express, a teacher of English, father of one, husband of one, step-dad of three, and cat-servant of one. He would like to thank his family for all their love and support, and in return he promises to teach them all how to read a subway map.

"This is really minor, but you know how the buses sometimes pull up to the side and are switching a driver or something and you have to wait there for several minutes before the bus allows people onto it, so you're just sitting in the cold watching hopelessly as that nice warm bus idles there? That makes me sad."
Thain hails from the wild untamed land of Montana, where the automobile remains a distant legend and children arrive to their schooling on horseback. Seen at the Rockwell last year as a hard-partying frat boy and generally unhinged T minion, Thain is excited to have acquired a character name. Actors relate to character names like house elves relate to clothing. Recent roles in the area include Nicholas Bottom in "Something Rotten", Riff Raff in "The Rocky Horror Show", and Scuridae Scuridius Scuridium in "The Squirrels".
