The Magic Lab is TOMORROW. It's going to be a great show. In the meantime, meet your next performer.

Introducing Performer 5 of 5:

Paul Steller is a Connecticut based magician who started seriously studying magic when he suddenly found himself with a lot more free time around the beginning of 2020. He hopes to spread joy and positivity through his magic.

Catch him at tomorrow's Lab.
See you there!

Introducing Performer 4 of 5 -- and your second headliner for this Lab:

Ben Nemzer

Fresh off performing at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Ben Nemzer is an international performer who regularly works at the world famous Hollywood Magic Castle and earlier this year starred in Cirque Alice, at the El Dorado resort in Reno for 15 weeks.

He, too, is just passing through Boston on his way to board a cruise. We are extremely lucky and excited to have him join us on The Magic Lab stage.

See you at the show!

Introducing Performer 3 of 5 -- and one of your headliners for this Magic Lab:

Cassandra, the Songstress of Magic

Cassandra is a magician, escape artist, and classically trained singer who’s performed everywhere from the Magic Castle to Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, with appearances on Netflix and CBS. When she’s not escaping from things, you can find her headlining around the world on major cruise lines including Norwegian, Princess, and Celebrity.

We are super lucky that she is boarding her cruise from Boston and so excited that she can make a stop at The Magic on Thursday.

If you haven't already, you'll want to get your tickets today!

Introducing Performer 2 of 5:
Alcy Hart

Alcy Hart is a multimedia artist whose work focuses on themes of q***r identity, anti-fascism, and community. Their performances in magic are a magical experience that defies categorization, incorporating theatre and performance art in a blurring of artistic boundaries. Within the magic community, they are known for their incendiary essays on politics, performance theory, and the magic community. Outside of magic, their work is in the permanent collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and has been displayed at exhibitions throughout New England. They live in New Haven, Connecticut.

You won't want to miss Alcy's act -- because they are something truly experimental at this next Lab. Go get your tickets today!

Have you gotten your tickets for next week's Magic Lab yet? No? What's stopping you?

Because this show is going to be an incredible start to the season!

Introducing Performer 1 of 5:
Evan Northrup

Evan Northrup mixes a magician’s deception with a storyteller’s honesty to bring magic to life. His creations have taken him around the world, both as a performer and as a consultant for theater productions and variety performers.

You might have seen him last October on the CW's Penn & Teller: Fool Us. You can catch him between now and October 11 in Salem at his one man magic show, Misfortune.

He is a prolific magician and a Magic Lab staple. We can't wait to see what experiment he has planned for next week's show.

Get your tickets before it's too late!

The Magic Lab is returning October 8 with an incredible lineup to kick off the season.

We have Magic Lab staples, new magic, and not one but TWO special guests.

Our special guests this month perform regularly on luxury cruise lines, and since one such cruise line is departing from Boston a few days after the Lab, we are able to feature them as our headliners. Stay tuned on our socials as we introduce each performer next week.

Tickets are already live. We often sell out, so grab them while you still can.

Save the date. Grab a ticket.

Season 8 of Magic Lab kicked off with a LIGHTNING ROUND at The Foundry

19 performers.
5 minutes each -- with a 1 minute warning bell and a GONG 💥🥁🔔💥 to signal the end of a set.

And an invitation for one audience member to hop onstage and do an impromptu set... (though no one was brave enough to take up that challenge this time).

It's always a fun time and a great way to get people excited for the start of the season.

Get excited, because we will announce the lineup for the October Magic Lab tomorrow!

All these photos are taken by the incredible Photo Mark Thomas -- except for one. (Mark is also a magician, and he wasn't able to take a photo of himself).
