Black Nosed Dace - Thunder Creek. I originally tied this pattern to target Brook Trout in the Adirondacks but have had success just about anywhere I’ve fished it. Quality Bucktail and the right UV resin make a huge difference in the final result. I prefer Bone Dry and use countless coats to obtain a very natural looking head.

Simple and effective. My favorite color combination. Tied on size 10. Loving this Marabou from .flyworks. Killer quality and color. It’s harder and harder to find good quality marabou these days. If you share the frustration, give his stuff a try. The packs contain almost 100% usable feathers. I am lucky to get 50% with most of the stuff out there lately.
