As I was watching this student sketching yesterday, I thought back to her very first painting in my class almost 3 years ago. The growth is unbelievable— lots of practice in class, at home, and at school. It’s a privilege to watch them blossom as artists. I am so proud!❤️🎨

Last night we wrapped up our Floral Watercolor series at Somers Rec Center! Each week we learned new floral techniques— wreaths, roses and peonies, cherry blossoms, and hydrangeas. We learned about a wide range of watercolor materials so participants could continue their practice at home. We met lots of new faces too! I’m sad this one is over— thank you to all the ladies who participated! 💗🌸
