Indigo Guinea Fiber IGF is a home studio currently offering hand dyed yarns in a variety of bases. Great for knitters, crocheters, weavers and other fiber arts.

I use colors inspired from our small start up farm and nature explorations with my little family.

Happy Monday post Hoosier Hills Fiber Fest!! That was my last show until August and I have already jumped right into what is now feeling like a massive project... but this is going to be so relieving for me to have done and you are going to get some really awesome goodies out of it!!

Will you help me give a big happy birthday shout out to Erica with ♡

I don't knit 😬😅 And in this industry that was TERRIFYING.
In the beginning my mom made most of my samples, then I started to do call outs for help when she needed to show down. And along the way came Erica and she started making more and more samples.
Now she knits almost everything in the trailer these days.
She's bounced so many ideas and combos around with me.
She's been such a support in getting my name into new places.
She's made this job more fun and supportive.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Today i took as a personal day to catch up on life just a tiny bit. There's a cute turtle, my happy bridge and a clean studio to show for it all! And tomorrow I will do the orders from this weekend and get to prepping for in less than 3 weeks!!

Then comes the great scheduling drama for summer break 😅

Personally my kids did all the activities I wanted yesterday and today we are heading to spend the afternoon with my mother in law. Tonight I will go to bed grateful for all of them that I have in my life and tomorrow it's back to prepping for Kentucky Sheep and Fiber next weekend!

Warning this video is about parental loss. Specifically my mom ♡
I just wanted to share all of her contributions to this business today as it marks my third year of living without her here.
She was the founder of IGF, the was the brains behind the bird base names, the character traits for tonal names, and those odd numbers that follow.
She is the reason my whole life is like it is.
Thank you for letting me share about her on this day that feels so heavy ♡
