The 2026 Solon Beef Days schedule is officially here, and it's packed fuller than a parade route on Saturday morning.
Food. Fun. Music. Traditions. Friends. Family. Community.

Solon Beef Days Committee – Donation Requests Now Open (NEW Online Form!)

The Solon Beef Days Committee receives dozens of donation requests each year, and we thoughtfully review each submission on behalf of our local non-profit community organizations. If your group is seeking a donation, now is the time to apply!

All groups are asked to complete our NEW online request form:

🗓️ Deadline: March 1, 2025

In addition to submitting the online form, we would love for a representative from your organization to attend one of our upcoming committee meetings to briefly present your request in person:

📅 February 19 – Current City Hall (across from Big Grove)
📅 March 26 – New City Hall (formerly The Avacentre)
⏰ 7:00 PM start time

Your in-person presentation helps our committee better understand your mission and the impact of your request.

While not required, we greatly appreciate organizations that receive donations making an effort to volunteer during the Beef Days event. Your involvement helps keep this community tradition strong!

For decades, Solon Beef Days has been more than a celebration — it’s been a tradition rooted in community, creativity, and hometown pride.

Now it’s your turn to help shape what 2026 looks like.

We’re officially accepting artwork for the 2026 Solon Beef Days T-shirt, and the selected design will become the visual centerpiece of the entire celebration — featured on shirts, posters, programs, and more.

Whether you’re a student, hobby artist, graphic designer, or someone who just loves this town — we’d love to see your ideas.

📅 Celebration Dates: July 17 & 18
🖌 Artwork Deadline: May 2

Top designs will receive cash awards, and the winning piece will represent Beef Days all across our community.

🎨 Calling All Artists! 🐮

The Solon Beef Days Committee is now accepting original artwork for the official 2026 Solon Beef Days Celebration T-shirt!

Beef Days returns to downtown Solon on Friday, July 17 & Saturday, July 18, and we’re looking for a design that captures the pride, energy, and fun of this incredible community tradition.

Submission Guidelines:
✔ Must be original artwork
✔ 5” x 7” or larger
✔ Created using conventional media or desktop publishing software
✔ Must include “Solon Beef Days” and/or the dates 7/17 & 7/18
✔ Include artist name & contact information
✔ Artists may submit more than one design

📅 Deadline: Saturday, May 2

🏆 Honorarium Awards:
1st Place – $100
2nd Place – $50
3rd Place – $25

The winning design will be featured on official Beef Days T-shirts and promotional materials throughout the community.

We’re still soaking it all in—what a weekend! Solon Beef Days was full of the kind of moments that remind us just how special this town really is. We want to take a moment to recognize a crew that often goes unnoticed but deserves all the praise.

A huge shoutout to the City of Solon and their incredible Public Works team. They showed up early, stayed late, handled the curveballs, and helped keep everything running smoothly all weekend long. Whether it was setting up, hauling barricades, picking up trash, or quietly solving problems before most even knew there was one—they were there. And we appreciate it more than you know!

Also -- Thank you also to the rest of the city staff for supporting the event in so many big and small ways. You’re part of what makes Solon so special.

This event is a reflection of the people who make it happen—and this weekend, our little town shined bright. 🌟

Main Street is back to normal!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate another amazing year of Solon Beef Days! You made this weekend unforgettable.

A special shoutout to the incredible community volunteers who plan, coordinate, and run every part of this event. From months of preparation to the last trash bag hauled away, this celebration is powered 100% by the heart and hustle of volunteers who love Solon.

Your support goes further than you know.

Beef Days isn’t just a weekend of fun—it’s a fundraiser that gives back directly to our community. Funds raised are reinvested into Solon in countless ways like:
🌳 Planting trees
⚾️ Supporting school programs and athletics with equipment and tournament travel
💦 Helping fund the special community projects like the splash pad
🏟 Or even donating to Parks & Rec for improvements like new dugouts

… and so much more.
