First kiln cast in quite a while… this has been a long time in the making and I’m not quite finished yet…haven’t worked...

First kiln cast in quite a while… this has been a long time in the making and I’m not quite finished yet…haven’t worked out the color scheme for this piece and it needs some cold working on the table saw and belt sander to clean up the edges. The kiln firing did not quite result in the colors I had in mind , so I applied enamel paint to the backside, but I’m not completely convinced that’s the way to go with this one either. 🤔
