In this post, you will find a farewell note from Miss Vergine and pictures from her last week at the studio in December. I know that there were a lot more pictures taken, so please feel free to post any of your photos in the comments as we would love to see and have them. :) If you didn’t have the chance to send a letter, picture, and/or something else for Miss Vergine’s Memory Book but wanted to participate, you still can! I will continue to add things as they are emailed to me at [email protected]. (If you’d like to send something else that isn’t for the book, feel free to email me for that as well.) Thank you for all who participated – it was a HUGE surprise to her. I should also note that many of the pictures are of Miss V’s last day at the studio. A surprise party was put together and it worked! She was absolutely shocked and blown away. Though it was very emotional (and you will see that in many of the pictures), it was a beautiful and memorable day. Thank you to everyone who contributed to it and made it happen! Ok….now on to the most important part of this post :)
Love you all!
Miss Angela

Farewell from Miss Vergine:
Now that my business has sold, I wanted to express my gratitude to all of my students, parents, and staff, both past and present. I am still looking at every card, every gift, every kind word with tears and thankfulness. I am so blessed by all of you and so thankful for your generous outpouring of love. I will cherish the letters and pictures forever. You have made my retirement farewell truly unforgettable.
Parents, your kindness, support, and encouraging words over the years meant so much to me. Whether it was seeing your enthusiasm, volunteering backstage, sharing your stories of how dance and the studio have positively impacted your child’s life, comforting me at stressful moments, or buying a coffee, these moments touched my heart and gave me the strength to keep going. Words cannot express how grateful I am for you. You trusted me with your children. I took that responsibility seriously, with honor and great respect. You in turn gave it back. Thank you.
I have been so privileged to work with such wonderful staff members over the years. To my current staff, it is very rare to find staff members like you. Your loyalty, commitment, and dedication to both the dancers and the studio have made a difference in the lives of countless children. You are role models who inspire these students to be better dancers. You will always hold a special place in my heart because you are more than employees, you are FAMILY to me. Thank you for staying by my side through all the years. I have been so blessed to know and to work with you in all that we did -- together. Without you, we could never have accomplished what we did.
My beautiful dancers, how can I possibly put my feelings into words? You are my world and have been my world for years. Your devotion to dance, your support of one another, and your commitment, have energized me when I watched you. I have seen you pour out your hearts and talents both on and off the stage, at the studio, and when we traveled. It was beautiful to witness. Throughout the years, we laughed, we cried, we prayed, and we performed together. When you danced, I danced in my heart with you. You are a big blessing to me and I am so very proud of you. I want to encourage all of my dancers to continue to pursue what you love to do in life. Do not settle for less. I always said that opportunities are available. Just stay focused and be determined to pursue your dreams. Life will always be challenging, but challenges will yield to your hard work and determination. Don’t get distracted from your dreams. In my heart, you will always be my dancers and you all are “MY SUNSHINE.”
Thank you again for everything!
I will always miss you.
Love,
Miss Vergine
