This senior season will be the most special and most bittersweet. My girls are graduating this year and I’m not really sure how I will hold it together. So I decided I won’t. I will let it all out. All my love, all my support, all my dreams, and all my fears. I knew these days were fast approaching and as cliche as it is, I don’t think I am ready. So here is the first of many photo session celebrations.
Destiny, my girl. You gave me purpose when I was lost. You motivated me to chase my wildest dreams, taught me the value of hard work, and carried me through some of life’s hardest days. I can’t imagine a life without you.
You are the funniest person I know. You fight for what you believe in, and you’ve never been afraid to be yourself, even when it wasn’t easy. You’re wild and adventurous, and I hope you never lose that spark that makes you uniquely you.
As much as I want to hold on to every version of you, I know this next chapter is yours to write. Watching you grow into the person you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. You’ve taught me just as much as I’ve taught you.
I am grateful that I get to be your mom. Grateful for every laugh, every lesson, every challenge, and every memory we’ve shared. No matter where life takes you, I will always be cheering you on, loving you fiercely, and reminding you that there is nothing you can’t do.
I love you more than words will ever be able to say.
