The Arwen Daniels Dance Academy is located in the seaside community of Solana Beach, California, a 30 minute drive from downtown San Diego.

We are conveniently located within walking distance from the Solana Beach Amtrak Train and Bus Station We offer training in Jazz, Contemporary, Tumbling, Ballet, and Hip Hop. Oh Elijah! You decided you’re off and running, I mean crawling…. Well, kind of. Within the last 24 hours, you decided to sit up with no help, and stay in that position for almost an hour at a time. You have figured out how to push buttons and turn things on and off, and your laughter in response to your discoveries is the most purely joyful, and precious sound I have ever heard in my life… you mumble “hey mom” and “hi” regularly now, in between your testing of your vocal volume and range that’s an all day affair of you yelling at different pitches, followed by laughter and shrieks of joy and pride. My little Jedi is the greatest joy and blessing in my entire life, and I absolutely enjoy every single moment of you growing and changing from day to day. Now I understand what unconditional love is, and what it means to be “made in the image of God.” You’re a little piece of heaven, Elijah. I adore you.

For my suddenly big boy who is almost a whopping old, and weighing it at over …. My is getting so big overnight! Elijah is hands down the most well behaved, easy baby to raise, and Chris and I are constantly in mode when we’re talking about, or spending time with, our Elijah. (Which is ALL the time and the ONLY thing we talk about). Here’s an homage to all of his weird shenanigans I’ve captured of him in the last few weeks… as he starts to , eat , and find his sense of , says “hey mom” instead of mama… and greets Chris and I with a clear since he was 4 1/2 months old… now slow down precious Eli, let’s not move through this too fast, we are so in love with the soul you are and what joy you bring, take your time with every phase of life, because i love you more every day, if that’s even possible anymore. You are an incredible, strong, willful, powerful, coy, bashful, sweet, cuddly, polite, and inquisitive little baby, and you are going to move mountains my son… you’ll be a leader of many one day, that much I know. You are our greatest gift in this life. I cherish each moment with you, my !

And just like that… a little newborn baby ( his stuffed dog stormy in tow) is 6 months old, and not a newborn anymore! 💔❤️‍🩹💔 I am so mixed in emotions over this milestone, as Elijah gets more and more amazing and fun and intelligent every day, but he’s growing up way too fast… just like everyone advised me was going to happen! Slow down little E!!!

My little boy is 5 months old already! He is absolutely the sweetest, cutest, funniest, best baby, and Chris and I are loving every second of him right now. Every day he learns something new, and grows and changes before our eyes… it’s so amazing I can’t even put how much I love Elijah into words…

12 and just the greatest of my . Every says the same thing, that you’ll never anything more than your own , and that your life will never ever be the same. Now I understand. And I hope gets to experience this in their lives at some point. …And then, he was weeks old, and counting! I can’t believe how much he’s already grown into being a little , not just a newborn that doesn’t have a distinct yet. Elijah sure does, and he is , , and from all of the and from and … you know who you are, and Chris and I are extremely for your , , and and that keep coming, to make Elijah feel from all over the country! After a month and a half of just a complete nightmare stay at the , for both myself and the baby, we are taking it one day at a time, and pushing ourselves forward with our new little . I don’t wish what we went through in the on any other , and to those dealing with a baby in the NICU for an extended period of time… “this too shall pass”, and it has.

The many different of my 27 day old , . He is such an expressive and adorable little , and continues to and every single new ... I don’t want to miss a second of him, and I can’t believe he’s almost a old already! Buddy, stay this size and this cute forever, ok? Never stop laughing in your , and always keep your arms straight up in the air like you’re on a roller coaster when you’re dreaming, just like you do now... we and everything about you, except the fact you’re a night owl and always want to stay alllll night long, so mom and dad never get any , day or night! But it’s all worth it to be a mommy # to you, even when we have to dodge your spontaneous peeing and pooping during , and the fact that I can never set you down to sleep; because you just want to be held by one of us allll the time! Now Chris and I know what true is, and we’ll always you and you no matter what!
