From Broadway to Carnegie Hall, Saturday, April 27th, 7pm-

Featuring composers who have written Broadway tunes and serious classical music including Gershwin, Bernstein, Rota and an unpublished trio by Sondheim. Anders Nelson, clarinet, Erica Boras-Tesla, cello, Wendy Loeb, violin, and Fontaine Laing, piano.

Also featuring a performance by our very own Monique Kunewalder and Lynne Talley!!

Pictures at an Exhibition, on Sunday, April 28th at 6pm!
Featuring Monique Kunewalder and Lynne Talley!!!

There will be wonderful music- with artwork inspired by and choreographed to the live music performance.

The concert is a special multimedia event that will combine visual arts with a piano duo performance of Pictures at an Exhibition and Pines of Rome

The first portion of the concert will include artwork created by young artists from Lux Art Institute that will be “choreographed” to “Pictures at an Exhibition,” while the second half of the concert, will include watching Cardiff painter, Gerrit Greve paint real time to Pines of Rome.

To top it off, a portion of all ticket sales will be donated to Lux Art Institute, located in Encinitas, to help fund their K-12 Art School Scholarship Program, which provides hands-on quality art instruction to school-aged children.

Solana Salons is pleased to present the Grigorian-Gubenko Piano Duo on Sunday, April 6th, 2019 at 3pm.

Their program will include J.S. Bach, Concerto for Two Harpsichords, Rachmaninoff Suites, Milhaud’s, Scaramouche as well as Piazzolla’s, Nuevo Tangos.

Comprised of Anna Grigorian and Natasha Gubenko, the Grigorian-Gubenko Piano Duo was the winner of the 2017 Cal State Fullerton Piano Duet Competition. Anna and Natasha have performed extensively since forming in 2016, including multiple venues in San Diego and Orange County. Both pianists lead busy piano teaching careers, with their students performing at state and national competitions and festivals. They enjoy sharing their love and knowledge of music with their audiences and students alike.

Meet the artists and mingle with fellow music lovers at a complimentary post-concert reception.
