If you know Lindsey Yeager, you know her world is painted in bright pinks, dark whimsy, and a beautifully feral sense of play. We are thrilled to share that one of her brand new panels, “Sisyphean Task,” is currently anchoring our annual staff exhibition, “Common Ground,” at Anderson Ranch Arts Center.
Rendered in a striking mix of gouache, flashe, and enamel, the piece is a perfect window into how Lindsey masterfully translates human chaos into raw, animalistic allegories, all while keeping that signature, mischievous fun we love her for. Lindsey splits her time as our Studio Coordinator keeping the painting and printmaking studios running smoothly and creating her own magnetic work. This piece is one of three new Lindsey Yeager works featured in the show.
Come celebrate and the rest of our brilliant staff next week. The closing gallery reception for Common Ground happens this Tuesday, June 2, from 5 to 6PM. Make a full evening out of it and stay for a free artist talk at 7PM to hear Lindsey and Paul Collins () speak in depth about their practices.
Lindsey is teaching two teen workshops this summer, with screen printing running in mid-July and acrylic painting kicking off in early August.
